Many thanks to the wonderful people of ELFORD who came along to the Village Hall last night for the Dandy Show. It was a bit like stepping back in time for us to be there again. We have appeared there so many times in past years. They are always such a special crowd of people. So many friends and familiar faces. Many thanks to Sue and Greg and the team for looking after us so well. As you will see from the photo of Allan in the break "performing on a full stomach" doesn't bother him at all. Great to see the Hall full and good to hear so much laughter. We had a ball.

Another “Dandy” success at Elford Village Hall.

Saturday night saw the successful return of the popular comedy duo “Dandy“ who have been entertaining Elford villagers for many decades.

An audience of over 80 were entertained to their black country humour and a variety of songs, with a bar and pie and mash supper.

Thanks, go to Richard, Rachel, Andria, Sarah and Sue and caterers “Sticky Fingers“ for a successful night.

******The Shooting Party******

The “Late Summer Murders“ were finally solved on the evening of Saturday, the 8th of October when Elfordians travelled back to 1925 to decide who dunnit

Dressed in “shooting gear” or glamorous 20s outfits over 90 guests at the Shooting Party at Elford Village Hall tried to unmask the murderer whilst enjoying a 3 course meal and licensed bar.

Who would’ve guessed the culprit…….. well only one lady won the prize but a good time was had by all!!

The Village Hall committee were very sad to learn of the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and wish to extend our condolences to all the members of her family.

The Union Flag outside the Village Hall will fly at half-mast during the period of mourning with the exception of the period of the “proclamation“ on Saturday/Sunday.

Tickets have landed for ‘The Shooting Party’ Murder Mystery Night.

A full night of entertainment, with Formal meal, supporting Gary and Olivia Jayne from the Crown.

A large number or tickets have been pre orderd, but please confirm we have you on the list including quantities etc, in case we have missed anybody.
We can then distribute your tickets over the next week or so.
