One Fyne Night is the perfect event to do midway through the summer holidays to keep your training on track! It's a great thing to do with family and friends and is a super fun afternoon out in a glorious location!
As with the majority of our events, One Fyne Night is about the experience - having fun! It's not a race! The 10k route is a great challenge for the seasoned runner but equally the 5k loop is family friendly!
The National Trust Cafe will be open on the day to keep you and your spectators fuelled up and ready to go! What a great day out!
Entries for the Exmoor Perambulation and Man vs Moor close this Friday at midnight along with the opportunity to purchase your medals!
Not to blow our own trumpet, but these events are absolutely amazing and we're very proud of them!
The Exmoor Perambulation is great for runners and walkers who love the longer distances - it's a fantastic historic event that will lead you around the old boundary of the Royal Forest of Exmoor! It takes in sections of privately owned land that you wouldn't normally be able to access!
Man vs Moor is our unique version of an obstacle run! Instead of building the obstacles for you to conquer, we utilise the natural landscape! Run, walk, scramble, swim and tunnel your way around 5km, 10km or 10 miles of Exmoor awesomeness! Some of this event also takes you over private land that normally you wouldn't be able to see!
The feedback we receive after these events is just brilliant! We know how much you love them, but currently, entry numbers are too low to make them sustainable. With spiralling costs and dwindling numbers, this could be the last year that we run these events. So, if you love them as much as we do, then we need you to support them!
We'd really appreciate it if you would share with your local running and walking clubs and on your FB profiles. We'd love for the long history of these wonderful eventβs to continue!
We look forward to seeing you on the start line! π§‘

MENDIP MURMURATION 2024 RIDER TIMES - LIVE NOW!
Morning all, we were busy yesterday helping Relish The Great Outdoors deliver their Cheddar Gorge Challenge 2024 trail running races and packing down the 2024 Top of the Gorge Adventure Weekend so we are just back in the office and able to get your times live.
Thank you for entering and supporting this lovely little mountain biking event in the Mendip Hills National Landscape, what a beautiful place to ride!
Please remember that this is NOT a race, we wouldn't get permission to hold the event if it was. So, with this in mind we time the event for your information but more importantly the checkpoint times are for your safety as we have a duty of care for you while you're with us. The times and distances are based on the information we have, if you failed to check in at checkpoint 3 or 3A we don't know how many extra loop laps you completed, shouting your number as you pass is not checking in, stopping and making sure the marshal had your number is, so if your distance is wrong, this is why. Your age category, gender and name are taken directly from the entry form you filled in online or the personal details form you filled in on the day, again we can only use the information we have. We are happy to make changes if required but please be mindful that both of us (Dan and Jan) are very part time so these changes may not be imminent. We also need any changes to be sent in via email to [email protected] please.
Thanks again for being part of another successful event, your feedback on the day and the big smiles crossing the finish line makes all the hard work so worthwhile, we love doing this for you, the riders and we can't wait to see you all on a start line again soon.
Loved the event? Don't forget to leave us a review on racechecvk here, we won Silver last year and would love to step that up to GOLD this year!
Thank you so much to everyone who attended and supported the Mendip Murmuration yesterday! We had a blast and we hope you did too!
You may know that we've teamed up with Racecheck, the Trust Pilot equivalent for the events industry so you can share your experience with us and the wider running community! If you have a few minutes, we'd really appreciate it if you could let us know your thoughts by leaving us a review by clicking on the image below π
Please note that Dan is still out on the Mendips helping our friends at Relish The Great Outdoors - he'll put the results together as soon as he's able to! Your patience is hugely appreciated!
Share your experience of Mendip Murmuration, read reviews from other past participants, and find amazing new life-changing experiences from around the world.

What an amazing day!!! Thank you so much to everyone who supported our first ever Steaming to the Coast Trail Run event! Whether you ran it, helped marshal or cheered from the sidelines - you all made the day as awesome as it was! We canβt thank you enough! π₯°
WHOOP!!! And theyβre off!! Have a great day everyone!! 𧑠#steamingtothecoast
Since we have been using the Eventrac booking system, we have raised almost Β£1,000 for our local charities!! How awesome is that?!
As part of your entry process, you are able to donate to one of the local charities that we have on our system and all money raised goes directly to them!
Next time you enter one of our events, please think about adding a donation - these charities rely heavily on the donations they receive and some of them simply couldn't exist without them!

Just 3 weeks to go until the #moonlitmeadowrun 2023, have you entered yet?
This year, weβre changing things up a little by reversing the route so youβll be taking it on in an anti-clockwise direction and weβve tweaked a couple of sections.
The event takes place in Taunton with some of the route using Longrun Meadow but the route is very different from the Parkrun route. Itβs 5km traffic free loop using French Weir Park, Longrun Meadow and Silk Milks Reserve. 10km runners complete 2 laps.
Check out the video to see the images Dan took along the route while out planning last week.
Not entered yet? You can do so here ππ

Weβre looking forward to seeing you on the moonlit start line.

Man vs Moor 2023
Our epic Exmoor Running and Walking Weekend takes place over the weekend of 24th & 25th June 2023!
A lot of time and effort goes into putting these events on - it's what we love to do though and we enjoy every minute!
Currently though, Man vs Moor has really low numbers. As it stands, it's not viable for us to run it. The last thing we want to do is to cancel this fantastically unique event in the most amazing area of Somerset, but if numbers don't pick up soon, we will have to make the difficult decision of not putting it on this year.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Let's make this an event to remember! Please share far and wide and help us to get those entries up!
