We are looking forward to presenting our autumn programme 'Soft Notes, and Gently Rais'd' in October, at Discover DeCrypt in Gloucester on Saturday 14th October.

The title is taken from a Purcell piece we'll be performing.
Also included in the programme will be music by Monteverdi, William Williams, Charpentier, Steffani and J.S.Bach.”

Northwick Baroque are Kate Oakley (soprano), Ken Roles (bass), Jane Warren and Ruth Churn (recorders), Jill Davies (viola da gamba), Michael Oakley (harpsichord).

Not long now until our first 2023 concert, on Sunday 18 June, when David Hatcher, Claire Horacek and Timothy Lin play music for one, two and three viols under the intriguing title "The Ape, the Monkey and the Baboon". They'll include music by William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes, whose anniversaries we celebrate this year.

Just a week to go till our Christmas coffee concert at the Lion Ballroom, Leominster 🎄🎶✨

We are so looking forward to bringing our sparkling collection of festive 12th-18th century tunes to this lovely venue!

Come along from 10:15am for seasonal refreshments, included in the £12 ticket price. The concert starts at 11am and will last around 1 hour.

For the final concert in this year's series we welcome back the Birmingham Musical and Amicable Society with soprano Hannah Davey. We'll be At Home with the Bach Family - including music by the great JS Bach, his son CPE, and other composers known to and played by the family. Tickets from The John Moore Museum in Tewkesbury, or online from Eventbrite.
