Today I took some of the animals along to the opening of the new Vets4Pets practice at Pets at Home in Penzance. I was really impressed with the facilities on offer..highly recommend :)

On Friday 10th June we had a visit from Jack's Zoo + The Animal Lecture Service. Jack brought in five fascinating creatures- a giant millipede, a chinchilla, a bearded dragon, an Africa albino hedgehog and an owl. Children from F1 to Year 5 were able to see the animals close up and were able to stroke them. Jack told us a lot about the animals and we learnt that the chinchilla is the softest animal in the world. All the children were very sensitive to the needs of the animals and were incredibly quiet and gentle.

Are you looking for something to do this Easter Sunday? Come and join us for an eggcellent day at the Plym Valley Railway. We've got some speggtacular attractions and plenty of things to do.
Sit down in our marquee for a hands on experience with some of our most common and most unusual species of animals including Rabbits, Hedgehogs and Spiders and an extra special face to face encounter with a Meerkat.
We also have a bouncy castle- superb fun for kids and adults plus our usual shop, buffet and viewing area,
Each child will receive a free Easter Egg on the train! We are also trying it differently this year, pay at the gate and travel all day- plus attractions including the bouncy castle and petting zoo are included in the price!
The Easter Eggstravegganza is an inexpensive and fun way to spend Easter Sunday.
