Messy Moo News…
Unfortunately, I haven’t had the bookings I’d hoped for next term and I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Messy Moo at Kingston Blount. 😔
With the current bookings, it’s just not financially viable for me to run the classes. 💔
I’m hoping to still go ahead with Wednesdays in Chinnor as this is a little busier! 🙌

I plan my sessions to be fun, engaging and creative whilst supporting and promoting your baby’s development using a variety of age appropriate resources and sensory toys.

Why book? 🤔
“Messy play” is such a broad term that it doesn’t do its value justice. Messy play starts with an idea, a theme or an intended outcome... exactly the same way hypothetical science and experimental physics do, the same as mathematical exploration and biological study.
For older children messy play is how this process of learning and developing ideas and gathering knowledge about the world around them starts and develops. 🌍🧐
For younger children and babies, this is all preceded by the need to develop the physical and sensory ability to engage with the world.
On top of supporting all five senses in their development, messy play helps spacial awareness, motor development, co-ordination and cognitive processesing. For many babies and young children messy play can be a source of emotional and sensory regulation; helping to stabilise cortisol levels and creating the perfect environment for calm, inclusive and socially neutral play.
Messy Moo play sessions are designed with the child at its centre. All messy experiences and sensory play opportunities start with an insurance that the core areas of development are promoted in the most engaging way possible. By creating different themes and topics that spark interest, excitement and investigation; we regularly rotate resources and topics to ensure children have a wide range of experiences available to them. Our messy play sessions can be widely varied to include a range of resources and materials, some familiar and some you’d never expect!
Moo Music Chinnor & Thame play sessions are designed and led by early years practitioner - Gabby.
The sessions are resourced with highly effective materials and themes...all you have to do is book a session, turn up and delve into the fascinating play provided, then have a wipe down, sing along to our Moo Music songs and go home for a rest!
We will plan, set up and clear away the activities. 🧹🧼
