Rosary thoughts:
“No one can live continually in sin and continue to say the Rosary: either they will give up sin or they will give up the Rosary.” ~Bishop Hugh Doyle The power of the Rosary is immense. You cannot recite it repeatedly and not be changed in some way for the better. If you continue to say it Mary will not leave you alone to live in sin, she will bring her Son to you. 7. “A similar need for commitment and prayer arises in relation to another critical contemporary issue: the family, the primary cell of society, increasingly menaced by forces of disintegration on both the ideological and practical planes, so as to make us fear for the future of this fundamental and indispensable institution and, with it, for the future of society as a whole. The revival of the Rosary in Christian families, within the context of a broader pastoral ministry to the family, will be an effective aid to countering the devastating effects of this crisis typical of our age.” ~St. John Paul II
Especially in England's Nazareth we keep the Holy Land, Israel, and Gaza in our daily prayers.
For the peace of the Middle East we pray.

This Sunday in Walsingham, we will be celebrating, what is for us, the liturgical Solemnity of Our Lady of Walsingham. We will be celebrating the original and perennial message of Walsingham – that our lives and the living of our faith is strengthened by the joy of the Annunciation; that the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us through Mary’s joyful and constant ‘yes.’

As part of Sunday’s celebrations, during the 12 noon Pilgrim Mass at the Catholic National Shrine and Basilica of Our Lady, at Walsingham, Fr Robert Billing will mark the liturgical inauguration of his ministry as our new Rector. Please pray for him and his ministry.

Day 1 of the Novena in honour of Our Lady of Walsingham.
The Annunciation of The Lord - For the grace to do the will of God.
We fly to thy protection, O Holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us from all dangers O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.
Reflection is on graphic.
Virgin Most Holy, Mother of the Word, intercede for us with your Son, that we may have the grace to see nothing other than to do his will, and the courage to live our lives in the faith of him who became incarnate in your womb, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

The Rector invites us to join the forthcoming Novena -
On Friday 15th September, we celebrate Our Lady of Sorrows. This day also marks the start of our annual Novena, leading up to the celebration of Our Lady of Walsingham.
You are each warmly invited to join us, in and through this Novena, in beseeching Our Lady of Walsingham's powerful intercession.
Let us place our personal petitions in Our Lady's hands, at the foot of the Cross, asking her to intercede with her beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, for our personal conversion, and for peace, reconciliation, and healing throughout the whole world.
