UPDATE.

I have had some messages and emails regarding parties, as I realise my last post states I was due to return in November.

This *was* the plan as I started feeling better, however... Since attempting to come back in January and then once again getting worse I have decided to make the difficult decision to turn down any bookings this year until I've had a solid four months of being well, and not 'trying' to be well for the sake of work.

Lyme disease has had a devastating impact on the business, my life and my family, and it's taken away what I love to do most. Please check yourself for ticks when you are out and about. I'm an outdoors girl, and I wasn't aware of the dangers.

Thankyou to anyone who has booked a party from me, and who has supported, shared and recommended me. When I am better ( truly better) the costumes will come out again, but until then. 🙏🤞.

Princess Elsa looked beautiful and entertaining weekend ❤️ now I am officially back in the office ( not princessing myself currently) but STILL taking parties.

UPDATE -

I will be looking to make a return in November. This is looking to be possible now. I personally will be able to facilitate maximum of ONE hour or a visit. Just because two hour is too much to ease back in. Co will still be able to do two hours.

* UPDATE*

Please remember I am only taking parties towards the end of the year due to being under medical supervision.

I am currently being treated for a suspected pulmonary embolism and under investigation for a heart condition. ( They are already aware of the branch block )

I hate turning down parties, I also hate being slow on responses. Also - if you do see me online, I will be honest- I'm sometimes just scrolling through funny videos to cheer me up.

I am determined to be back to health but I am not rushing.

Announcement for upcoming parties.

I'm currently in hospital at the moment being treated for complications of a viral infection, of which I won't go into detail but it's being sorted.

I will not be taking any more parties until the end of October... just while I focus on recovery and rest. That's not to say if you have a party within the next two months your party will not go ahead - either myself or Corrina will be there. However I cannot risk taking on more work right now whilst I am under investigation.

Apologies for anyone who has called me the last two days - if you WhatsApp me and your party is towards the end of the year I will book you in.

Unfortunately due to ill health I have had to cancel and delegate parties this weekend.

Please understand that if this happens I will do my very best to find you a replacement and you will get a full refund and a complimentary visit when I am better.

Not one entertainer likes letting down kids, or parents. When your hairdresser cancels after calling in sick , you just rearrange your appointment... It's not the same as a birthday party.

We are all human, and I've had parties with poorly tummies, and felt migraines coming on and I've run around with sports injuries, I will do my best to make sure I am there .....so if I can't do your party... Believe me when I say - I really cannot.

From today my prices will be going up ☝️ to align with the market standard more, and to contribute to the rising cost of living which is sadly having an effect on all of us, and especially us single parents.

These are for parties in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. For further afield parties a travel fee applies.

I still remain one of the most budget friendly entertainers out there, as I believe every child should have a birthday to remember.

I will also be asking for a £60 deposit to secure the date with the rest payable by bank transfer ONLY on the date to keep the books tidy.

Just thought I would put a little post up to show the face behind MKP and why i differ from other bigger companies.

I'm Rebecca I'm 27, I work in an office for a education tech company and I run this business, I also look have two kiddies. One who is 10, and one who is 1.

If you hire me, money goes straight into this little household, no guessing who you are going to get on the day, no 1 entertainer calling you off the books of a big company that have just hired people off their looks with no experience and no DBS check or public liability ( thinking of a couple in my head ).

My life is incredibly busy - and I try my hardest to juggle it all. Please, If I ever take a little while to get back to you just nudge me ! You are never ignored ☺️ or ...if you call me and you hear kids in the background, this is my family ❤️.

But - what I lack in slight professionalism from juggling this around my main profession and my kids.. and all else .. I make up for in that I will ensure your child has the best party ever 🥳💕
