Viki & Will 🤍 They melted our hearts during the very first online meeting, when Viki said it never was a question they would have a wedding planner. And then it became clear our help was really useful for them. They are working a lot, so saving time with our data collection procedures and helping quick decision-making was essential. And then the wedding day came… with dark and thick rain clouds. ⛈️ We were at T-3 h before the start and we had to make the decision. The vendor team needed a cool-headed leader, not mentioning the bride. And we did it! 💪🏼 Discussing the situation with the meteo service (still in light rain) we set up the ceremony outdoors. 🌤️ From T-1 h it did not rain on that day anymore. Happy end.

Budapest Children’s Railway 🚂 Wedding transportation might be carried out by several means of transport. In most of the cases it’s a fleet of rented buses, cars, taxis. And there are the cool couples like Viki and Will renting a train for their guests. 😎 Of course, for this you need to choose a wedding venue located next/near to a railway station. 🚏 Moreover Budapest Children’s Railway is a unique member of Hungarian Railways. It mainly uses diesel engines, but if you are really lucky, you might catch also a steam locomotive. 🚂 This narrow-gauge line runs up to Széchenyi Hills and kids of school age are working on it. The tradition is from the Soviet era when the organization was called Pioneer Railway referring to the communist scouts. Nowadays good-grade students can work here with justified omission from school.

Official wedding in Hungary 🇭🇺 Official / legal / civil wedding of foreigners in Hungary is not really difficult, but needs some preparation and paperwork in advance. You needn’t be a resident here, but you can apply for the marrriage licence only in person some months before the wedding. We help you through the process, and our success rate in getting the license is 99.5% for the last 15+ years. (That 0.5% applies only if there is a mess around your papers/nationality/marital status 🙊)

Cross-faith wedding ceremony 💗 Helena and Sándor had big dreams about their wedding. One of them was to have a church ceremony at the Roman Catholic Matthias Church, but coming from a Reformed Christian and Muslim family it was not an option for them. They definitely wanted to involve spiritual elements and give vows to each other before God. All these in a bilingual (Hungarian-English) “environment”. And we knew the only person in Hungary giving a solution: Deacon Michael from Ecumenical Church. These tasks are totally for him/them. Bringing in the spirit of God (whatever name we call Him/Her) in any situation. Sky is the biggest church of God, they say, and you give your vow to each other before God anyway, no matter where you are physically.

PS: we couldn’t either smuggle Pici the dog in Matthias Church, could we? 🙊 (see last photo)
