This is for .mccan and for totally stepping up this week to get all our work done! I tested positive for stupid annoying covid on one of the busiest weeks of our calendar, but these girls made sure all our our weddings were looked after and the work was completed. Natasha and I had an absolute blast building the floral arch on site on the wedding morning on our POP frame! Our calendar is now FULLY BOOKED June 2025 for weddings.

We are also FULLY BOOKED through May and July 2025.

We have availability for ONE SPELLBOUND WEDDING ONLY during the last two weeks of August 2025.

If you are considering us for your date during the last two weeks of August now is the time to secure that date. We would love to work with a couple who want to really wow with their flowers, is that you??

September 2025 is filling up fast, some availability other months.

We are taking expressions of interest for 2026 but will be updating our pricing, so we cannot give estimates/quotes for 2026 at this time. We also need to prioritise meetings and calls with our remaining 2024 and upcoming 2025 clients, so there will be a queue for calls and meetings.

P L I N T H S

A couple of week's ago we created some drama filled focal arrangements for Sarah and Tommy's wedding at Timoleague church. Soaring green and white garden inspired pieces, which sat atop staggered plinths at the doorway, and more at the back altar.

After the ceremony we brought the arrangements back to and with a slight re-adjustment they became the pieces for on top of Harlow stands on the tables in The Ocean Suite.

The church and venue aren't too far from each other which really was the thing to allow such reimagining to happen. We had "just enough" time to turn things around!

Didn't it work well though!

T H E O C E A N S U I T E

Last Saturday we flowered (and candled) up The Ocean Suite at for Sarah and Tommy's wedding feast. It was so elegant!

Lots of garden foliage and dahlias combined with Fairtrade flowers via the Dutch market. Many of the arrangements were first displayed at the church and then restyled to the various table centres.

Sarah and Tommy also had their Day 2 at the hotel, and were able to enjoy all their flowers even further on that day.

That's me, Flicky Howe (pronounced "how" as in "how are you?")

It wouldn't really be me if I didn't have flowers.

I 2019 I left my safe, flower shop job, to start my own flower farm and studio from my home in West Cork, Ireland. Most people said "don't do it", but I'm so glad I didn't listen, instead I listened to who said "Flicky, the time of being the worker bee is over, it's time to become the f #!*ing queen bee" 🐝

We grow seasonal flowers in the Irish climate (usda zone 9b to be precise) between March and September each year on approx 1 acre of gardens. We use these flowers in our own studio design work, and in supplying weekly market bunches locally at in Ballinspittle in Kinsale and in Corks iconic

We are honoured to provide weekly in house flowers to and
I still pinch myself just driving in the gates of both these incredible venues

We also do lots of beautiful weddings.
For our weddings we include vast amounts of our unique home grown produce combined with very select Fair Trade import flowers from the Dutch market via and

Here are some of the things I have achieved in my "small" business over the past 5 years (you might think some of these goals of mine a bit "what?!" but trust me, I would never have achieved them had I listened to everyone except Jackie 😂) ;
- independance
- a garden full of flowers
- my own gingerbread house design studio
- no debts
- health insurance for my family
- January and February off (just skip winter)
- an awesome team and brilliant friends

There's loads of other stuff I could put on that list too, but these were the most important things to me ⬆️

If you are thinking/dreaming of something, you have to at least try to do it. One go on this merry-go-round peeps.

In May I fulfilled the dream of attending with my bestie partner-in-flowers and took this great photo of the real me. Damn, those flowers 😍
