Founded by Jamie Herlihy in 2016, Desmond School of Performing Arts has developed into a centre of excellence for music and drama operating from the Desmond Complex in Newcastle West. The team is committed to the provision of arts-based tuition, drawing from a wealth of experience in education and professional performance.

In addition to musical theatre classes in the stage school, individual tuition in provided in singing, guitar and piano with many students winning awards at Feile Luimni and Feis Maitiu.

The students are delighted to show their support for this fundraiser and look forward to being on stage once again.

Scoil Mhuire agus Íde Special Band "Klix" are a group of 6th year music students for Scoil Mhuire agus Ide who were formed during the Transition Year programme.

The members pictured here, are Eamon Keating, Calvin Quinn, Jamie O’Brien, Holly White, Lochlann Gilbert and Cormac Mann. We're all so excited to see and hear them in action on Thursday night!

5th Year Students from Desmond College Miracle, Lauren and Orla have been active members of the Desmond College Music Department, partaking in choir, trad group, musicals and our school radio station. We are lucky to have Andrea Caudullo our exchange student from Italy joining us. Can't wait to hear them live on Thursday.. Less than a week to go!!

Another musician for the 7th is 20 year old Eva Downey. She has a diploma in keyboard and piano and is currently sitting harp diploma. Vocal training with Olive Cowper and currently Susan Browne. Summer residency in Teach de Broc in Ballybunion and is often sought out for weddings! Delighted she's volunteering for the Ukraine Fundraiser 🇺🇦 🎶
