I share the name Mark McCabe with the Maniac 2000 DJ, but as I’m slightly older than him I will always say he copied my name to gain success LOL. I’m not a music maestro but after 16 years in the wedding business I do consider myself a maestro in “ A Wedding Day ”

My journey into wedding video began in 2005. I was at my sister in laws wedding and I just brought my little handy cam to capture some

behind-the-scenes family footage. I excitedly created a little personal video for them and they loved it. This got me thinking. Why was the professional videographer not capturing the family and friends moments and just focusing the whole video around the Bride & Groom? Of course, the couple are the main characters in this story, but there is so much more to tell and see on a wedding day. My great woman is my amazing Wife Darina. Working behind the scenes she keeps it all ticking over in our business and our home life. Without her, I most definitely wouldn’t be where I am today. To future proof our business, We have a 15-year-old son who is a true techy, I have no doubt that his input into our business will educate me and keep it current. As a small family of three, we are very tight & there is no better feeling after a long day's shoot to be always greeted at home with warm hugs. It's just piped at the post by the feeling I get when a Bride emails me to tell me she LOVED her wedding film. I get a great personal buzz from that!

Meet The McCabes

Starting our wedding business in 2005 was the second best decision we made as a couple.

We get to meet beautiful couples at the start of their life long journey, and get to tell their love story ♥️

On a wedding day, everyone is excited and happy.
Which makes it a great environment to work in every weekend.

We both come from close families, that are expanding every year and we love being surrounded by the young spirit of the children in our families.

We are both lucky to have both our parents still with us.

When we go out to film a wedding day, we bring these values with us.

We understand the importance of the children, the parents, the Grandparents to each couple on the day.

And of course close friends that are like your other family!

These are always the memories that we strive to capture.
Making all our wedding videos very personal to each couple.

On a wedding day we are not there to intrude, and we respect that some moments on your wedding day are extremely special and sometimes emotional.

For this reason our filming style has always been to capture those moments from a distance, and we never ask the couple to do staged shots.

We want you to have nervous excitement to be getting married, and not be in any way nervous about the presence of a camera.

We want you to have the best day of your life!

And when it’s all over, we will give you a life long memory on film that you can treasure forever!

How to Avoid Being Stressed on Your Wedding Day!

Be in your dress & ready to go 1 hour before you plan to leave for your ceremony.

This will give you time to:

1. Walk around in your dress & fix anything that’s feeling uncomfortable.
2. Take time to really look in the mirror & make sure you’re happy with how everything looks.
3. Give time for any final touches with your hair or make-up.
4. Relax & chat with family & friends about the day ahead.
5. Get some photos of you in your dress before any stains or wrinkles- they will happen!
6. Get some photos with your parents before it gets really busy.
7. Your photographer & videographer will need to leave to get set up for your ceremony, being ready early gives you the opportunity to get all the shots you want.
8. Go to the bathroom without rushing & have time to re-adjust your dress afterwards.

The biggest stresses on a wedding day is running out of time & feeling you have to rush things.

Taking this hour to yourself will keep you calm & relaxed and you will be happy leaving for your ceremony knowing everything is going to plan.

A Dream Couple.

Breaking Tradition 👰🏼 The tradition of your Dad walking you down the aisle comes from an era where women were the property of men 😮 It represented a transfer of ownership from her father to the groom on the wedding day. Over the years it has evolved into a proud & special moment for a father to hand the care, love, and support of his grownup daughter to another man. In his eyes his daughter is still his little girl and it has always been his job to take care of her. It’s hard to pass that on to another man. So it can be a very emotional day for a father of the bride.🤵🏼‍♂️ However! As September Ends, A new Journey Begins 🍂 On Saturday morning an excited bride-to-be was getting ready for the best day of her life! Ciara and the girls, were giggly and full of fun. The Champagne was flowing and the playlist was on full blast🎶 From the first stroke of mascara, to the last spray of hairspray, 💄 Ciara remained a picture of calm.
