Well done to our U15 County Team that played the Leinster Inter County at the weekend. A long day and some tough matches, but a great experience for these young players to finish 3rd in Group 4.
Huge thanks to Siobhan for looking after the team on the day.
And thanks to the Leinster Youth Badminton organisers and officials for running the event so efficiently.

Our Grade 3 and Grade 5 County teams were in action today in Vicarstown and Newbridge respectively, battling for a place in the Leinster finals to be held in March.

Congratulations to the Grade 3 team who won 3 out of 3, and qualified for the finals 👏👏
The Grade 5 team won one 7-2, and lost won 4-5, so they have to wait and see if they qualify as best runner up...

Wexford Badminton Grade 4 and Grade 6 teams were in action today in the preliminary rounds of the Leinster Inter County competition. Unfortunately neither team qualified for the finals but both teams had many close matches and games. Next time we'll get them... 💪

Congratulations to the Wexford team that finished second in division 3 of the U13 Leinster Inter County competition 🥈 following a narrow win over Offaly, and a narrow loss to Carlow.

We had our sixth Club and Coaching forum last night in Enniscorthy, Wexford.

We had 8 different clubs in attendance where they got some important updates for the new season and an on court workshop led by Craig Mccourtney.

We look forward to seeing the clubs in Lisburn for our next edition on Wednesday.

This day next week, Friday the 8th of September, County Training will return, from 8pm to 10pm in Astro Active, Enniscorthy. 💪🏸
Friday the 8th is for grade 3, 4 and 5 players (10 to 16 points).
The following Friday, the 15th, is for grade 1, 2, and 3 players (points 16+).
The training is open to any player registered with a Club in County Wexford, of the appropriate grade/points. If anyone is unsure of their grade or points, ask your Club Secretary, or send us a message. 🏆
