Sharing the dance experience of Shivarathiri 2024!!!!
We performed at four places on March 8th,2024.
1. Shiva Vishnu temple, Tanjore
2. Nanjundeswar temple, Kumbakonam
3. Mayura Natiyanjali, Mayiladudurai
4. Brahan Natiyanjali, Tanjore
Each stage and audience are totally different.
I personally believe in portraying a character and including a lot of stories that reach the normal audience. We were able to address most of the village people and the love they gave to us was amazing.
We are very happy to be MSN story tellers through our dance and, with God's blessing, we are able to influence each and every audience.
Happy that I am taking the path of my guru Kalaimamani Smt. Revathy Muthuswamy mami who always believed in dance dramas.
With the blessings of Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman, we are able to dance with full energy at 2.00 am.
Sharing a glimpse of our 45-min dance production “SHIVOM-JAGATH KAARANA”.
Thanks to Mailai Barani sir and Mayura Natiyanjali Mayuram for the wonderful stage and lighting.
Congratulations to all MSN artists, parents, my family members, Vimal Kanakaraj anna who have put a great lot into making this happen.
Special thanks to Ramamoorthy Sriganesh anna for your presence.

About Ootukaadu Venkata Kavi
This beautiful song is composed by
Oothukkaadu Venkata Kavi 300 years ago on Lord Krishna.
Oottukkaadu Venkata Subramanyar was one of the pioneering composers in Indian classical carnatic music. Also known by the name Oothukkaadu Venkatasubramaniya Iyer, he composed hundreds of compositions in Sanskrit and Tamil .
Venkata Kavi's compositions reveal that he was a complete master of the science and art of music in all senses of the term – melody, rhythm, and lyrics Renowned for his rare depth, scholarship and sublime appeal, he was proficient in a variety of musical forms such as the kriti, tillana and kaavadi chindu. He used taalas and themes that many other carnatic composers have not handled. His compositions are a blend of a high degree of scholarship on a variety of subjects and inspired expression.
Hope you are able to gain a little knowdegde about the composers. Please share your favorite song on ootukadu compositions in the comment section.
Looking forward to see your videos!!
