The love for dance and music is there in every individual. All of us must have danced at least once in our life, But for some it becomes life. The passion for dance in Nandini is what created “Nandini’s The 9th Count Dance Academy.”

Nandini has her Masters in Business Administration from Anna University and has worked for MNCs in Chennai, India for more than 5 years. Her stay in New York for 3 ye

ars was an eye opener. Her passion for dance was never satisfied until she started “Nandini’s The 9th Count Dance Academy” in Bengaluru, Karnatakain 2012 whe n she returned to India. The academy also has its presence in her home town Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Now, she enjoys every moment she spends with her students, helping to kindle the passion for art and dance in today’s generation. Art in its classical form should be available to everyone interested. At Nandini’s The 9th Count Dance Academy one will be trained from the very basics of Bharathanatyam. Classes will be structured but lighthearted and fun. Everyone loves music. Everyone would have tapped for a beat or two. The 9th Count Dance Academy will start from there and hone your dancing skills all the way through. Nandini is a trained Bharathanatyam dancer at Pandanallur Dance Academy under renowned Guru Nritya Kalakesari Pandanallur P.Ganapathiappa for over 2 decades. After her Arangetram in the year 1995 she performed on several stages the most prestigious one was at the Pollachi Thamiz Isai Sangam, Chidambaram Natyanjali Dance festival which stages India’s well known dancers in all forms of Indian classical dance. Having given over numerous stage performances over the years in India and abroad her passion for dance and to perform led me to teach Bharathanatyam.

My heartfelt condolence and my respect to my Bharathanatayam Guru Pandanallur P Ganapathiyappa , who passed away at the age of 91. He is the reason I started loving Bharathanatyam and is one of the reason for what I am today. May his soul rest in peace .
