Kommune is always on a hunt of Great Art and Great Artists. This year in January we started setting up events in more than eighteen Indian cities and have continued doing so till today. 

From Mumbai to Kolkata, From Delhi to Chennai we have organised over 100 open mics for hidden but talented artists like you. And have heard some great pieces. Have witnessed some exceptional performances. 

As the Mecca of words “Spoken Fest” is all set to come back on 3rd and 4th February 2024. We have decided to turn all our Open mics to “Spoken Mics.” A stage for you all to present your best pieces(stories, poems, music.) 

We will be organising Spoken Mics in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Indore, Bhopal, Rourkela, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Chandigarh, Patna, Raipur, Jabalpur, Lucknow, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur etc. 

And we invite you to be a part of this Karwaan of Words.

Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) and Event India will be organising ‘Jaipur Ghazal Festival’ from 9 to 12 June at JKK. The festival has been conceptualised by Bhupendra Rana.

Live performances will be presented by well-known musical artistes like – Anup Jalota, Ustad Ahemd Hussain, Ustad Mohd. Hussain, Chandan Dass, Pradeep Pandit, Dr Sunil Rahi, Raju Dass, among others.

A major attack was averted on Wednesday as Chittor police arrested 3 persons carrying 10 kg RDX. The accused were conspiring to set up a serial blast in Jaipur.
In a major development, Rajasthan police on Wednesday busted a conspiracy to set off a serial blast in Jaipur. Chittor police arrested three people and recovered 10 kg RDX during a search operation. The Jaipur and Udaipur ATS team is now looking into the matter and is carrying out a thorough inquiry.

According to information accessed by the investigation team, the accused were conspiring to plot blasts in Jaipur. There was a conspiracy to set up blasts in crowded areas on Hindu new year and Navratri. Meanwhile, further investigation on the matter is underway as the accused could be associated with any terrorist organization. The ATS is looking into the averted attack and the city has been put on high alert.
