The wealthy literature that it contains enriches a Dhrupad recital and leaves the audience mesmerized.Singing elevates the levels of neurotransmitters which are associated with pleasure and well being along with having positive effects on people's health. Perceived social and spiritual benefits are accrued apart from improving lung capacity and stress reduction. In spite of being so rich in itself its popularity is at a low ebb now-a-days. We have failed to motivate the future generations and introduce these to this form of Indian Classical Music. The more we try to make people listen to Dhrupad Music the more will people be attracted to it. Listening to such rendition keeps people socially and spiritually uplifted.
