Sanskriti is the annual arts fest of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam. Famous by the tagline "The Butterfly Sting", the fest promises the colors of spring, the celebrations of the best time of the year, throwing the minds wandering in the confines of classrooms into the glory of arts and culture. Sanskriti explores the real pulse of college life, and presents the artistic side

of engineer to the world. Through Sanskriti, we set a stage for the artists to make an impression, and for the crowd to be impressed. We invite you to come be a part of the biggest happening this year.

Guidelines:
🎵 Participation is open to all
🎵 Team must contain 7 members
🎵 Duration should not exceed 10 minutes (Negative points for exceeding time)
🎵 The song should not contain any offensive, obscene or disrespectful lyrics
🎵 Instruments if any, must be brought by the participants. Use of karaoke will not be entertained
🎵 Judgement will be based on

🎶 Coordination
🎶 Instruments
🎶 Team spirit
🎶 Outfit
🎶 Overall presentation
🎵 Decisions of the judges will be final and cannot be appealed

LIGHT MUSIC🎤

Guidelines:
⭕️Participation is open to all

⭕️The participant can choose a meaningful Malayalam Song of about 5 minutes duration.

⭕️The song should not be devotional, choral or from films .

⭕️Songs that contain offensive mentions of caste ,religion and community or are wholly inappropriate will be rejected

⭕️Every participant should keep the proper time limit as given above.

⭕️The judgment is based on criterion such as expression, swaram, thalam, overall performance

⭕️Actions or body movements on the stage will not be taken into consideration in judgment.

⭕️Decision of the judges will be final

Reg fee : 200/-

Rules for MIME

🎭 Each team can have minimum 5 and maximum 8 members.
🎭Time limit is 5 - 7 minutes for each team. Negative points for exceeding the time.
🎭The act should not contain
👉🏻 any dialogues, lip sync.
👉🏻 any offensive, obscene, disrespectful actions or gestures.
🎭The act will be immediately stopped and the entry will be disqualified, if these instructions are not followed.
🎭Props and music is optional.
👉🏻The music should be submitted prior to the event.
Music should only contain instrumental and no
lyrics .
👉🏻Props if any must be carried by the participants themselves.
🎭Topics can be chosen by the participants .
🎭There will be prizes for the 1st and 2nd positions.
🎭Points will be given on the basis of
1. Innovation
2. Depiction of the situation
3. Team work
4. Expressions.
🎭Judges’ decision will be final.
