The Social House Story
India is a country of Art and Culture. Every Indian is having an artist inside however, many of these do not choose Art as a full time profession.
But for many who wants to be a professional Artist, a proper platform or stage is most important but not all of such creators get an opportunity to showcase their talents on a professional stage. As a result many such arts remains unfinished.
In recent years, we have seen some improvement in this and some platforms in the form of Reality and Talent Hunt shows started to give opportunities to artists on bigger stages. However, these mediums are not accessible to everyone and do not cater to larger population.
With a vision to conquer this problem and to create a professional platform for every such artist Mr. Ravie Solanky, a truly master of many art forms like Direction, etc etc came up with an idea of “The Social House” — House of all talents.
He created a team of enthusiastic professionals and started “The Social House” where artists of various art forms like Poetry, Storytelling, Comedy, Rapping and Beat-boxing and Music got a respectable platform to showcase their talents.
The stage was not too big nevertheless not too small not to get interested. The process was kept easy and straight wherein Artists needed to submit an online form along with a small audio or video piece of their talents and they get a call for invitation to perform. Hundreds of such nominations received in few days sone of those along with a “Thank you Note” for the initiative which proved how important and necessary it was for the Aspiring talents. The team worked very hard over the next few days and gone through each and every entry for finalization of the Artists for the very first event at original venue in Vikaspuri.
Finally, the day arrived for the first Poetry event. The team was very much excited and a bit nervous for the special Day and the result was more than what was expected. The event was a big hit and the Artists and the audiences applauded the team and felt connected with “The Social House” from the very first interaction.
Things got bigger and bigger as the time passed away and people kept showering their love to the The Social House. Now it was the time to go Online and a YouTube Channel for “The Social House” with the same was created by the Team and selected performance videos from the offine Poetry events were uploaded to the channel.
With this, “The Social House” went global and very soon great results were seen.
Soon “ The Social House” got online on many other platforms like Facebook and Instagram etc and result was no different.
Many artists got recognition and fame they deserved from this platform and “The Social House” started receiving invitations for outdoor events. Many such events were organized at various respectable venues like IITs , IIMs , DU and many others.
In April 2019, The Social House became the only Poetry & Storytelling channel to perform at biggest creators’ fest i.e. Youtube Fanfest. The team performed a combination of comedy and poetry.
The Social House kept gaining popularity day by day also got hints for request of a new place from the family ( as fans are known in The Social House). The team was already planning for a new workplace because of some limitations in the current place like space, connectivity etc.
Team started the mission for the search of the new place, dozens of such places were screened, lots of hard work and time was devoted and finally after a long but fruitful effort the Team found an amazing new place.
In a stone throw away distance from the Tilak Nagar Metro Station and a few feets from Gate no.3 you will get to new Venue of “ The Social House” so the first and most common problem of entertainment seekers has been solved by this new venue.
At the entrance you will be welcomed by a eye soothing Greenery of real plantation. As you enter in The Social House you will be amazed by the first look of the Reception area and the Waiting area.
The fully Air conditioned premises been designed by keeping in mind the comfort of the visitors where they will find a filtered Water Dispenser and comfortable seating for waiting. Through the Reception Area separate Stylish and Modern Restrooms are there for Male and Females. The Venue has a power backup to ensure non stop entertainment.
You will also find a mini library at the Waiting Area in which various books are there for reading lovers also you will find a showcase of your favorite TSH Merchandise.
Coming to the main event area, you will be having a feel of proper Theater as the main entry of the event area is designed in traditional theater style. The sound system and lightning of the stage is modern and stylish. Comfortable seating of 60 plus audience gives a great feel to enjoy any event in a larger group.
There is also a recording room having all the necessary equipment to solve the required purposes. A small Green Room also ensures privacy for artists and time for relaxation in between the performances.
The Social House also received an appreciation from YouTube, both (Gold and Silver Award) received in a year.
The venue is available for rent for any related events and provides all the necessary equipment and facilities at a nominal cost. Located at a place which has a 24*7 running traffic, there is no fuss to rush and even a late evening show will ensure proper availability of transport.
The same enthusiastic and creative team of The Social House managed to create the same emotional connect with the TSH family at the same time streamlined the process in a more professional manner at the new place. In a small phase of time, The Social House has reached at a respectable stage in the industry and the new place will act as a catalyst in further growth of the TSH Family.
