This is to inform all the Engineering students that the deadline of registration for poster design competition is 10:00 Pm tomorrow (30/11/19).

Exciting prizes and certificates are available for the winners.

Poster design :- On the occasion of Pollution control day.

Theme will be provide at the same time.

The poster design competition will be hand drawn poster, Department will provide A3 sheet to design poster.

Description- This still of a toad has been stolen from a nearby water tank in Bagi. It is very interesting, that these ancient creatures have been around for more than 265 million years, since before the dinosaurs and are the first of our ancestors to venture from the water to the word beyond.This reminds us how the flower of life blooms even in the harshest of settings.

Toads have a phenomenal homing instinct and will travel through all sorts of obstacles to reach the breeding site.
This men-dak is one of the several offsprings born this season.

The Tehri Dam is the highest dam in India and one of the highest in the world. It is a multi-purpose rock and earth-fill embankment dam on the Bhagirathi River near Tehri in Uttarakhand, India. It is the primary dam of the THDC India Ltd. and the Tehri hydroelectric complex. Phase 1 was completed in 2006. The Tehri Dam withholds a reservoir for irrigation, municipal water supply and the generation of 1,000 megawatts (1,300,000 hp) of hydroelectricity. The dam's 1,000 MW variable-speed pumped-storage scheme is currently under construction.

When i was passing my time alone in Rishikesh Triveni Ghat at this ladder, I meet one person who is from Delhi & he is AIIMS Rishikesh MBBS student, suddenly i receive my mom call & talk to her generally she prefer talking Garhwali language with us.
When i was facing this Delhi boy i was feeling uncomfortable in talking Garhwali with my mom, then switch into Hindi. After some time he asked me why are you feeling insecure/shy when you talk to your mom in Garhwali, then he realised the fact that, We Garhwali feel insecure/shy when we were talking one another in Garhwali language in India or Foreign. Even a punjabi or a Nepali never feel insecure towards their mother tongue language at national or international boundary. WHY GARHWALI FELL SHY TOWARDS THEIR LANGUAGE,this was i real fact guys.
so, i take this pic as a memory of that person, fortunately i click this beautiful natural view.

Actually I clicked this picture last month when i was near the admin block, suddenly my eyes stuck to a corner where these two ants were trying to pull an earthworm's body which is appx 20 times larger than their size...
It shows their patience, hard-work, iron will and focus.
