This effect was created by Lubor Fiedler c. 1978 and originally sold by Austrian magic dealer: Michael Hitzel. Then distributed by Supreme c. 1980 and Howard Schwarzman.
Effect: A 100% visual Jumbo-card mystery performed in a devilishly ingenious manner. The performer displays three cards, two with regular blue backs, one which is marked with a bright red border. The red card jumps to the centre of the deck and back again, without cover of any kind! The cards are counted and now red card vanishes to appear in the pocket. Finally, all three cards instantly and visibly change to red ones. No Rough & Smooth, No St*****rs, No long and short, No extra cards, No false counts! The specially produced cards do all the work for you.

Originale, molto commerciale e ideale per tutte quelle situazioni in cui volete esibire le vostre abilità di mentalista.
Prima dell’esecuzione il mago porge un post-it allo spettatore e lo prega di scrivere un orario a caso della giornata e di nascondere il post-it nella propria tasca.
Servirà al termine dell’effetto.
A questo punto l’esecutore offre una dimostrazione di preveggenza, una di telepatia e una di Magia !
Consegna uno speciale mazzo di carte raffigurante orologi che segnano tutti orari diversi, allo spettatore con la preghiera di mescolarlo. Nel frattempo lui farà la sua previsione spostando le lancette di uno speciale quadrante che poi poggia faccia in giù sul tavolo. Lo spettatore, terminato il
miscuglio sceglie, tagliando a caso, una carta.
Inutile dirvi che il mago ha previsto il futuro… questa carta infatti, segna lo stesso orario previsto sul quadrante poggiato sul tavolo !
Adesso per la dimostrazione di telepatia l’esecutore chiede allo spettatore di allontanarsi, tagliare il mazzo e guardare l’orario che segna la carta inferiore. Dopo un attimo di concentrazione il mago prende il quadrante e sistema le lancette allo stesso orario indicato dalla carta scelta !!!!
Adesso, dopo la preveggenza e la telepatia, ecco il momento della magia!
L’esecutore si concentra e predispone le lancette del quadrante ad un determinato orario; lo spettatore prende il post-it dalla tasca, lo apre e mostra a tutti l’orario che aveva soltanto pensato all’inizio dell’esecuzione, gira il quadrante e l’orario sarà identico!

An intriguing series of coincidences that build up to an unbeliev able climax.
Effect:
The performer shows two sets of nine cards. They each bear a number from 1 to 9. After mixing, they are laid face-downwards on the table and a spectator selects some from each set. When the cards of his choice are totalled both are the same. This is repeated in a different way.
An '0' is added to each set then the magician shuffles one while the spectator mixes the other. The performer's ten cards are laid out on the table face downwards, then the spectator deals one of his face up on to each of the face down cards in any order he likes.
The pairs are gathered up and, when dealt, are all seen to match, 9 with 9, 6 with 6, and so on until all have been shown. The odds against such complete pairings are astronomical; in short, coincidence has been stretched to the very limit!

Collectors’ Workshop first created this beauty in 1985.
This extraordinary piece of apparatus was first developed by England’s master clock maker, John Martin. In that version, four half dollars were placed in a glass and covered by a silk. The glass was balanced on a cigarette case which was, itself, balanced on a second glass. Then the performer moved away, gestured and, incredibly, the coins visibly pe*****ted to the lower glass, one by one.
The CW Coin Classic has been redesigned to fit neatly within a card case (which, by the way may be shown on both sides before the effect). The new version built by Viking/CW and my good friend George Robinson is very precise and reliable and works cleanly every time.
It’s a perfect end to an Okito box routine, for example.
If you perform this correctly, the effect is about as magical as it gets. A small amount of practice will leave you with one of the finest effects from the Collector’s Workshop stable – without selling your home!

Questo effetto è stato inventato da János Bartl di Amburgo in Germania c. 1934 e concesso in licenza a Davenports nell'aprile 1934 per la vendita sotto il nome di Demon Wonder Box. This was invented by János Bartl from Hamburg in Germany c. 1934, and licensed to Davenports in April 1934 to sell under the name Demon Wonder Box. It was marketed in the 8th issue of the Demon Telegraph, a house-magazine from Davenport. In this early version only two sides could be opened. c. 1952 an advanced version came to the market with the name “Silk Wonder Perfect” and you could open all four sides as can be see here. Brema & Co. began making this version c. 1946 and Viking purchased the rights to Brema c. 1978.
Effect: Performer shows a handsome plated box with thin sides. Holding it in one hand the front and back drop down and the top opens. There is no room to conceal a pin. Box is closed and immediately a number of silks are produced. One silk is replaced in the box and vanishes and is found elsewhere. Box may be shown empty after each production or vanish. Box may be thoroughly and minutely examined without the remotest possibility of anyone discovering the secret.

Birch the Famous Magician and his vanishing pony, Princess, were elite illusionists in the 1920s and thereafter, comparable to Blackstone or Houdini. This is a well-preserved, framed showbill advertising "Birch the Famous Magician and Princess the Vanishing Pony." This showbill would have been from the early part of Birch's magnificent career, before his wife Mabel joined him on stage. Nicely framed in a 21 x 27 frame.
From MagicPedia, McDonald “Mac” Birch (1902-1992) was born George McDonald Birch and grew up in McConnelsville, Ohio. Known as Mac to his friends, he began performing on the Lyceum and Chautauqua circuits. He quickly gained a reputation for his work offering a full unassisted two-hour show. Later, his wife Mabel Sperry, a xylophonist and also played the marimba, provided the musical interlude in his shows, as well as working as his chief assistant. Two of his featured acts were the Vanishing Pony and the Silk Mirage.
McDonald Birch was a contemporary of other master illusionists like Blackstone, Thurston and the great Harry Houdini. In 1924, Howard Thurston made plans to make Birch the successor to the Kellar-Thurston “magic mantle.” Thurston, however, never got around to retiring. After over 50 years as a headliner, Birch retired from performing in the 1960’s. The auditorium of the Opera House Theater in Morgan County, Ohio was dedicated “Birch Hall” as tribute.
