This is going to be a long story❤️

So, I decided to make something different for my mum’s birthday and I decided to make her a sewing machine cake but few days before doing the cake, I started having inner conflict, “can I do this” “should I change the design” “you haven’t done this or see where they’ve done this before physically ”😂😂😂.
Omo! I sha decided to do it, couldn’t bake from IB so I had to use pot method to bake😂😂 and I started looking for videos on YouTube but I couldn’t get a clearer one so I had to check for step by step picture and go with it.

Told my mum that this thing I want to do ehn I’ve never done it before should Incase I f**k up make she no too vex for me😂😂 Na so I carry my mama machine tool’s bag and start looking for screws and like, I started doing furniture work oo, made the structure and started cutting the cake.
While trimming, dad was like this resemble a machine (in my mind I was like, Gloria, you’re doing well😂🥰😌)

I made a lot of mistakes while making the structure so I had to try to adjust while trimming it, covering nko? Though it was much easier than I thought but the struggle was still real😂😂. Anyways, I sha cover late in the night till around 12am because I forgot CMC and I had to beg someone to get it for me which I couldn’t get till late evening.
I know I made a lot of mistakes but I’m proud of doing this. What about my mum’s reaction, you asked? Well, you could see on her face while I was covering it that she’s super proud😌.

Even our neighbors and students passing took pictures with it and it was definitely my proud moment 😌😌
This is definitely the most challenging cake I’ve ever made and I’m hoping to challenge myself more by doing more of this🥰❤️.
