We had fun making this pinkie

As we celebrate Anjola's gradual transitioning into teenage hood, we can't but recall that she's still but a kid

A mother's love

How do you describe a mother's love?

The weekend was a hit no mincing words. I had a most rewarding review on this cake too.

Birthday cake was almost looking like a wedding cake.

My husband was even asking if it's a wedding cake and I was like no it's an 80th birthday cake for a great man.

Should I let you in, I was nervous all through the process of making this cake.

I wanted to pre heat my oven, my cylinder regulator malfunctioned, it didn't supply gas to the oven burner.
I almost got a panic attack. Thank God for great people around me.

At the end, I delivered and the review I got made me jump and danced.

And that night, I slept like a baby 👶

The heat these days would make one feel like dipping oneself in a huge bucket of cold or iced water

But this heat had me dipping my hands in icing sugar, got me making yummy cakes and covering them in white and blue Fondant

The daughter of the momma whose birthday this cake is for contacted me that she wanted this cake to be a surprise for her mum on her birthday

As you know, me and surprise, we are 5 and 6.

I told her to say no more. I'm your surprise plug. I can keep mum till you say no more

And it was indeed a surprise that was emotional. When the mum raised prayers for her daughter, I got so teary. It was blessings from within.
