YET ANOTHER SHEPHERD KIDNAPPED!

CELESTIANS ALL OVER THE WORLD 🌎 PLEASE 🙏 WE CAN DO THIS AGAIN.

LET'S JOIN IN PRAYERS FOR THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF, ASSISTANT SHEPHERD OF C.C.C. SAMUEL BILEWU JOSEPH OSHOFFA PARISH, IWASIMI, ABEOKUTA OGUN STATE.

According to the information provided from the Parish, on Monday 13th of June, 2022 night at exactly past 11pm which is the only day and time the Church premises have few members around, some gunmen invaded the Church premises at Celestial Church of Christ Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa Parish km 27 Lagos/Abeokuta expressway Wasinmi Abeokuta Ogun state and abducted two persons the Assitant Shephard and the Parish Sunday School teacher away and since then they have being requesting for the sum of N50 Million as ransom before they can be released.

From all indications the gunmen have done serious surveillance on the Parish to have chosen to do their operation on a Monday Bible class day when only few members attend Bible classes and at the very hour of the late night.

C.C.C Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa Parish, Wasimi habe been preparing for her 20th Years Annual Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service before this terrific incident.

Let's us join the family, Parish and friends to pray for their safety and immediate release.

However, the insecurity situation of the Country call for an immediate security guidance and Church operation from the Pastoral Office. Our system of Church Management and operation shows how Venerable we are as a Church and this will continue to endanger the lives of clergymen, women, Parishioners and their families if immediate strategies are not put in place.

From records all Shepherds that have been kidnapped were 90% Prophets and yet, nearly 99% of release where done with negotiation and payment of ransom. So why can't we start investing into security now? We cannot continue to open Parishes like as at the time of 1947, the current situation call for an action.

DG VISITS DR. OLUWOLE ADETIRAN, COMPOSER OF NYSC ANTHEM
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim today made an emotional and historic visit to the writer and composer of the NYSC Anthem, Dr. Oluwole Adetiran at his Ibafo residence in Ogun State.

The visit was predicated on the news on the ill-health of the great music legend, who composed and produced the age-long NYSC anthem.

The Director-General was received by the living music legend with joyous tunes from a group of choristers whom "Baba" himself has nurtured over time. The colourful reception was greeted by a majestic rendition of the 3-stanza NYSC Anthem, which Dr. Adetiran himself led in an astute orchestral manner.

General lbrahim was full of praise for the man who single-handedly composed what has now become a very famous anthem of the Nigerian youths in the NYSC Scheme.

The Director-General thanked Dr. Adetiran for this unforgettable and invaluable contributions to the Scheme via the composition of the Anthem.

Overwhelmed by the emotions of being recognised by the Chief Executive of NYSC and the kind emotional words of the Director-General to him, Dr. Adetiran then burst into tears of joy in appreciation of the visit.

The Director-General assured him that the NYSC Scheme will continue to stand by him and members of his family at all times. The NYSC Boss prayed to God Almighty to grant him speedy recovery and good health.

The Music Legend in appreciation, was full of excitement and fulfilment that the Director-General made out time to visit him and also thanked the Director-General for sustaining the values of the scheme which motivated him to compose the Anthem in the first instance.

He said, "I am very proud to be part of the NYSC success story through the Anthem I composed. I am today fulfilled by this visit".

The DG was accompanied by the Acting-Director, Special Duties, Alhaji Musa Abubakar, NYSC Ogun and Lagos State Coordinators.

The man who made me know I could study Music and succeed with it. The man who encouraged me to sound the way I do, confidently so. The man who likened my vocal prowess to a striker's own in a football match. The man who validated me as a father should do and I got encouraged at that point in my life when I was left without care...

You are beyond 70 but I always see you as my friend that will always be there with me. But seeing you yesterday on that bed, frail and feeble, the pain, I realize that you are actually old now... My GOD-sent friend is old!!! 😪

But you have lived a blessed life!!! I am an evidence!!!

I met you 24 years ago. January 17 1997, at Central Choir's rehearsal, which I was drawn to out of my quest to get better at being a Singer. Immediately you heard my voice, you exclaimed how unique it was and called me "striker", like the renowned Rufai on the football field.

I needed that at that period in my life, the validating voice of a father figure, and I got it through you.

I got into the Music Technology Department of The Polytechnic Ibadan at your suggestion and looking back now, I am immensely grateful that I listened to you. I wouldn't have listened. Why should I listen to anyone? Who was taking care of me? Anger with rebellion... But "something" beyond me compelled me. I wanted to study either Law or English but your counsel made me change my mind. Here I am today!

You stood in the place of Father to me at that time when mine was absent. You knew nobody with me but you accepted me into your house. You tied me to the girdle on your waist and took me everywhere, teaching and pruning me as we went, the struggles and victories therein... You made me know it was possible to go to school even when no one was there to finance it. You gave me courage in that aspect.

Bàbá can be tough oooo, but it's out of love and concern, the way an over-protective parent can be and I am GRATEFUL I met you!!! I needed you!! You were there as teacher, guardian, coach and motivator. Above all, you are my friend! We "fight" a-many but I LOVE you!!! You are a good and sincere soul. Bàbá's jokes? You will find yourself displaying all your teeth in laughter!!!

You helped me a lot at the level I was at that time, seeking clarity about actually knowing The GIVER of my gift the more and using my gift to make HIM known. You encouraged these values I live by which had always been there but could have been dampened if you didn't come along...

Your creativity with music is amazing!!! Your charm! Your guts! Ha. Your neatness! Your handsome gait! I told everyone about you!

I hope I have made you proud. Because I wanted to. I think I have because I see how you look at me these days and am immensely thankful that you can see me make you proud!

You didn't understand my stubbornness but I just wanted to take reproach away from you, from us!!

I am GRATEFUL I met you!
I am GRATEFUL I met Bàbá!
I am GRATEFUL I met Oluwole Adetiran!
I am GRATEFUL, gannnnnnn, I have no words to say how much and this makes me tear up.

In these your frail and feeble days, I am STILL proud of you and I make bold to tell the whole world how my story would not be complete without you, my trainer, my teacher, my FRIEND.

Thank you to the leadership of the Celestial Church of Christ and everyone who has shown him love at this time.
