Smadar Kruvi – Shalhav (Smadey), a third generation food entrepreneur, born 1970 and raised in Tel Aviv, Jaffa, has a long culinary history, from restaurant manager to food and recipe consultant. s fish restaurant. Smadar spent more than 20 years around family restaurants both in Los Angeles and Tel Aviv and now resides in The Netherlands with her husband and 2 boys. Coming from three generations of food entrepreneurs, food and hospitality are part of Smadey's everyday life. Being constantly involved in the family business from early childhood taught her important and fundamental rules about the food industry and gave her a rich culinary pallet and insight. She inherited the epicure and uncompromising character of her father and learnt one most very special thing from him - his secret Hummus recipe.
