The Sami people are the indigenous people in the Nordic countries, with deep culture, history and language. When traveling to Northern Norway, we recommend experiencing the Sapmi Culture. Be greeted by a reindeer herding Sami, and get a tour of the siida, where you can learn more about Sapmi culture, history and lifestyle. Listen to the yoik and legends we have to tell, while enjoying Bidos - a traditional Sapmi meal made of reindeer meat, carrots and potatoes.
