It is with much sadness and regret that due to the Gulf Harbour Country Club closing down, Summer Sounds Live on the Green 2023 has been forced to cancel. Those holding tickets will be refunded accordingly.
Please support the online petition to save the fabulous golf club and green space.
The owner has handled this very badly. No notification to staff, contractors, service providers or people like us. Not acceptable and not the right way to treat good people.
So again apologies about the concert. Standby for refunds.

It is with much regret that we are having to Postpone Summer Sounds Live on the Green once again. We have moved the concert back to 26th November 2023.
With the weather we have just experience and the forecast for the next two weeks, we just could not take the risk of damaging the Gulf Harbour Country Club Golf Course with heavy vehicles, and of course we want all of you to have a wonderful experience at this amazing location. Sitting on a damp ground would be no fun, so lets all do it again on 26th November 2023. Current tickets purchased will carry over to the new date.
Our thoughts and best wishes go out to those who have been affected by this terrible weather we have been experiencing and we look forward to putting on a wonderful concert in November.

Due to the weather warnings and the predicted heavy rain for this Sunday, we have made the decision to POSTPONE this Sunday’s concert.
As the weather is not looking favourable for the rest of next week / week end and in the interest of wanting to give everyone an enjoyable experience we have postponed the concert to Sunday 12th February 2023.
We have received full support from the bands as they too want to see everyone having a good time, and not huddled up under an umbrella.
All purchased tickets carry over to the new date – 12th February 2023. Further ticket sales open on Monday 22nd November 2022

So please leave your drink at home. BUT you are more than welcome to bring a picnic hamper .. or purchase a fantastic FRANKIES hamper online when you buy your tickets.

The morning after !!!
A huge thank you to the enthusiastic crowd that made Swing on the Green such a special occasion on Sunday at Gulf Harbour Country Club. We were treated to wonderful performances by Purrzazz and the indefatigable Peter Urlich and the Swinging Sextet, Peter’s energy, showmanship and world class crooning delighted the crowd and had everyone dancing on the fairway – even the light rain was no match for the energy of Urlich and the world class playing from the band!

Purrzazz warmed up the crowd with their Kiwi inspired ‘swing-alicious’ vocal harmonies and had feet tapping as the crowd lapped up the afternoon sunshine, with the stunning view over the Hauraki Gulf to Rangitoto framing the beautiful concert setting on the 16th fairway, before the Peter Urlich Swinging Sextet took to the stage and the audience to their feet as the urge to dance became irresistible!

We also want to thank everyone for their patience through some delays at the bar, this will be addressed in the debrief and rest assured, will be improved for future shows as it is our intention to bring Swing on the Green back to Gulf Harbour for another bigger and even better show in the future. Your feedback on the night has been appreciated and taken on board as we look to further refine and improve on a pretty cool afternoon on the Hibiscus Coast.

Swing on the Green is a community event, one looking to bring together local residents for a local cause (Shakespear Park Open Sanctuary) with great support from local businesses Window Makers and Karen Franklin Harcourts. We hope to make it a regular one on the calendar and a great social occasion to celebrate our wonderful surroundings with wine, music, dancing and great company.
