Hey everyone!

We are looking for 1 or 2 contractors to join the Stage It family from now until the end of the year (at this stage) to do 1 ish events (small seasons) per month.

You will need to be experienced in either Sound or Lighting and be able to work with no direction, you will also be great with clients and client communication 😀

You need do to be able to drive and do events on the hibiscus coast and shore.

It’s a small team and you will either be working solo or with 1 other person so positive and professional attitude is a must! 😀

Dear Wonderful Stage It Productions Friends, Family, Clients, Suppliers or Supporters

We hope you are well and things are coming back to normal post covid!

As you will know, we managed to get the business through the covid years by sheer determination and resilience from the SIP team, which has been an amazing achievement..
As events are slowly coming back, it has made us reflect on what's important for us as a company and more importantly as people of the Stage It Family..

Jayden and I have been making some big decisions over the last few weeks and we have made the very hard decision that it's time to have a 'Stage it Break' in the 2023 calendar year.

Basically this means we will be Closing on December 30th 2022 and won't be open at all next year (2023).
Jayden and I are both moving to the UK to get some more theatre experience, do some travelling and ultimately up-skill within the technical world :)

Next September (2023) we will be in touch again regarding 2024.

We know this will come as a shock to some of you, and not surprising for many others.
We are also aware that this will leave a gap in some of your productions, especially if we have been working with you for some time.

We are going to come up with some alternate options for you for the 2023 year, so if you are wanting us to work with you on a transition over to a new supplier/option please do let us know.

This is a very bittersweet decision for us after having done some of your productions since 2006, before Stage it was even a business,

We will be holding a last Sofa Session/Christmas Party for you all on Thursday 15th of December so please pencil that date in for now and an official invite will come later on 😀

Please do let me know if you have any questions, otherwise we look forward to working with you (or seeing you) before we go. 😀

Hey there everyone!

So after much discussion we have decided to combine both upcoming Sofa Sessions evenings into one, this is mainly due to lack of ticket sales for both nights.

So the Northern School of Performing Arts Youth Sofa Sessions artists will perform from 7pm until 8pm then from 8pm until finish will be our Sofa Artists 😀.

If you had tickets for Friday you are welcome to stay on past 8pm for the rest of the night. If you have Saturday tickets you can either arrive just before 7pm and be apart of the youth session as well, or you can arrive at 750pm-8pm and come along just for the later part of the night.

We are very determined to keep these events going in the future, but we are on a knifes edge at the moment, we don't want these events to disappear going forward 😞 So come on team! Get amongst it!! ❤️

The night is going to be AMAZING, the talent is AMAZING, the stage it sofa supporters are AMAZING, the food is AMAZING,

Only one thing for you left to do, book your tickets, that also would be amazing!!!😀😍❤️😍

Sofa Sessions - Saturday 21st May!! - 8pm

Both of these events are being held at the Orewa Arts and Event Centre :)

Hey there wonderful people!

What a year we have had! We kicked off the year strong with a couple of community theatre productions, fantastic Nspa productions, followed by some of our regular school productions and some new school productions!
We then headed into our second stage it produced production “Chicago the musical” in July and sold out six shows!

Following a couple more school productions and opening Aladdin just before heading into Lockdown, we headed into December with several outside events to round off the year!

It most certainly hasn’t been easy, Sometimes we surprise ourselves with the fact we are still even operating! Hats off to the stage it family this year who have all made adjustments again to working hours, salary’s or wages, wage subsidy’s etc etc. I doubt I would ever be able to find such a resilient team who evidentially can get through any challenge. Amazing work ❤️❤️

Today is our last day in the office for this messy year, coming into 2022 we will have a slow start to the year thanks again to covid! But will be regrouping and working on some exciting new projects through Jan and most of Feb 2022!

Last weekend we finished up an outside version of Creative Dance’s showcase and Pinehurst School prizegivings kicked off today! Slightly different format to normal but so good to be getting at least a couple of events in prior to Xmas 👍😍🎼

Last night we wrapped the KingsWay School livestream Dance Festival ❤️ it was amazing to be able to smash out our first event in many months! What an amazing bunch of students and teachers!! The work ethic, passion and overall commitment to this event by everyone involved (after 80 ish days of lockdown) was next level outstanding! Hats off to all of you who made it happen last night and to the boss Claire Trebilco for pulling it all together! ❤️❤️ it’s been really nice to be back to a somewhat normal this past week xx

Hey everyone! It’s been a massive few weeks and we are well and truly back into the swing of things for 2021!!!

Over the past 2 weeks Jayden and myself have been working day and night to complete the brand new technical install at Murrays Bay Intermediate School - Auckland, New Zealand, and it looks amazing!

Olly and Aiden have been working on Centrestage Theatre Company’s first production for 2021 ‘Urinetown’ which runs for the next 2 weeks 🙂

Coming up this week we will be working on getting gear ready for this year, lots of scheduling, as well as planning some staffing announcements and other updates about this year 🙂

We hope you have all had the best break and we are very ready to get this year well under way!!! Bring it on!

Thats a wrap for Stage It for 2020! Let's all hope 2021 brings a much smoother year for all!

Ill be on emails and phone throughout the festive season and Jan for anything urgent, otherwise we will catch everyone in Feb!

Massive shoutout to the amazing SIP whanau who have gone above and beyond time and time again this year, even moving and rolling with things that are definitely well outside their contracted duties thanks to COVID! Love you all 😀
