We fondly recall the joyous celebration of Chelsea and William’s special day in January 2024.

Following the intimate church ceremony, loved ones gathered in our picturesque courtyard garden and pergola for pre reception beverages provided by Omarino and delectable grazing table from The social platter co.

As guests entered the reception, they were greeted by beautifully adorned tables, featuring exquisite centerpieces lovingly crafted by the Mother of the Bride. This thoughtful touch added a personal and warm element to the decor.

The enchanting ambience seamlessly merged indoors and outdoors as green and blue up lights cast a magical glow on the lush foliage and pathways visible through the venues expansive walled glass windows.

The interior space infused with soft pink and mauve hues beautifully highlighted the platform stage and bridal party area creating a captivating constrast of colours.

A sumptuous banquet by Thousand Islands Christchurch, delighted the senses. The evening highlights included the couples’ tender cake cutting ceremony, touching speeches and the captivating work of Ourofilms and photographers Ellah Rodriguez and Aaron March who skillfully captured every precious moment.

A standout feature was a lively performance by a band of friends who treated guests to lively Irish tunes. A heartfelt tribute to the groom and his family, along with energetic Irish dancing by the youngsters, adding a vibrant splash of colour to the celebrations.

Warmest congratulations Chelsea and William. We were honoured to have been a part of your special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness, joy and love.

Last October, Sam and her beloved Kieran tied the knot in a kaleidoscope of colour and joy!

With a clear vision of bold, bright and vibrant hues (rainbow colours), their special day was a true reflection of their fun-loving and unique style.

From Sam’s stunning rainbow hued dress to the colourful bows adorning the ceremony chairs and the show-stopping rainbow coloured arch, every detail was a masterpiece.

As they exchanged their vows in a mid-afternoon ceremony officiated by Sean Joyce - Celebrant, their love was sealed in a burst of colour and magic.

Robin + Andie, Photography captured the essence of their love with breathtaking smoke-bomb filled images that will be treasured forever.

The reception was a rainbow coloured wonderland with each table featuring a specific colour theme, meticulously decorated by the bride and her bridal party. White chair covers from Something Borrowed Something New Wedding Store added a touch of elegance, while the vibrant chair bows brought the party to life.

The cake by Twisted Flour & Sugar Merchants was a white 3 tier, adorned with swirls of artificial florals. These started from the bottom in bold red, warm orange, sunshine yellow, fresh green, sky blue, rich purple to indigo.

Each swirl was carefully crafted to create a sense of movement with each bloom blending seamlessly into the next.

A sumptuous banquet feast was provided by Country Feasts Catering, Photo Booth by Classic Photo Booths NZ and guests danced the night away to music from The Wedding DJ Dale.

A truly colourful and unforgettable celebration of love, laughter and adventure.

Congratulations Sam and Kieran. We were honoured that you chose Omarino Estate to celebrate your colourful and magical day. Wishing you both the very best for your future together.

Congratulations to our Auckland couple Keziah and Alex who married at Omarino Estate end of October 2023.

Our couple and bridal party of 10, were joined by 80 guests for an extra special ceremony officiated by the brides sister Jess.

The ceremony area was a vision of elegance with ghost chairs from Hyde Park Hire and a central white carpet, along with arch and decorative draping. A single orchid and white tablecloth graced the rustic signing table.

The striking giant LOVE letters positioned to the left of the lawn perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic, infusing the setting with romance and style.

Stunning bouquets were provided by The Flower House.

Grey Area Productions skilfully immortalised the joy and magic of the day, preserving precious memories of a lifetime.

A magnificent grazing table was provided by Moveable Feasts with refreshing beverages served under the pergola and courtyard garden by Omarino Estate.

The reception venue table settings from Something Borrowed Something New Wedding Store featured glass cylinders, soft candlelight, mirrors and regal orchids, white the ghost chairs added a touch of ethereal elegance. The giant LOVE letters from Something Borrowed Something New, repositioned beside the dance floor, cast a romantic glow making the evening truly unforgettable.

As the heartfelt speeches came to a close, the culinary mastery of Moveable Feasts was unveiled, presenting a lavish plated meal.

Making a sweet milestone for our newlyweds was the cutting of the cake provided by The Cake Eating Company.

With the first dance, our couple gracefully glided onto the dance floor, their love shining bright.

DJ Danny-Ill took the reins with almost every guest surrendering to the infectious rhythm.

We were honoured Keziah and Alex that you chose us to host your special day. Wishing you a lifetime of love, happiness and adventure together. May your future be filled with joy and cherished memories.

Another stunning wedding reception from October last year at Omarino Estate.

Following the church ceremony, Elaine and Erick continued their joyous celebration with a reception surrounded by 120 of their dearest family and friends.

As the sun set, our newlyweds strolled hand in hand through the venue grounds, their love radiating with every step.

Capturing the essence of their joy, laughter and love were Light and Shade Narratives.

The additional reception decor of curtain and florals was a masterful blend of soft romantic hues and elegant accents provided by Real Simple Party Hire.

Delicate shades of pink, white and apricot cascaded above the chaise, creating a whimsical and dreamy ambiance.

A dusky rose sparkle runner added a touch of sophistication, leading the eye to the beautifully set tables. The table florals in pink, white and apricot burst with subtle vibrancy, complementing the soft colour palette and infusing the space with warmth and intimacy.

A sumptuous feast was crafted by Chef Astig Euro Asian Cuisine to delight the guests tastebuds.

The evening continued on with lively dancing, games and merriment, creating unforgettable memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Congratulations Elaine and Erick. Many thanks for choosing Omarino Estate to celebrate your love.

Cheers to a beautiful beginning and a happily ever after.

The elegant table settings excluded opulence and sophistication with gleaming gold vases, candles and rich deep blooms of ruby red, garnet and cranberry creating a depth and richness.

The deep burgundy runners provided a contrast to the radiant gold, creating a visual harmony that was both refined and dramatic.

The look was completed with crisp white linen and plates, burgundy serviettes and gold leaf rings. Chair covers, serviettes and serviette rings were provided by Something Borrowed Something New Wedding Store.

Country Feasts Catering provided a magnificent buffet and Sarah Reynolds some sweet treats.

Feel good Thursday. Throwback to a stunning Tongan wedding of 80 guests held in November 2021.

The rain was due to make an appearance at the ceremony, so Plan B was implemented early, under the pergola and marquee, with consideration to the generous ceremony decor.

The rain held off long enough for Rakib Rax Photography to capture some stunning images in the garden and lawn areas.

Family, friends, food and fun times.

Congratulations Neomai & Daniel. It was a privilege to host your special day. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

We thank you Sama and Steve for your wonderful and comprehensive feedback -

“We held our wedding ceremony pre dinner beverages and reception at Omarino. Jane was lovely to work with. She was very thorough and accomodating with us. Many of our guests commented that they didn’t know this venue existed and were blown away by the size and beauty of the gardens! Some were even busted having a few plums from the tree! Even though it’s close to a couple of main roads and the airport, you don’t hear any of that noise when you’re outside. The grounds are excellent for photos, the pergola serves as an excellent background for canapé hour (or a back-up ceremony spot in case of rain) and the reception hall is suitably arranged so that you can easily put your own touches on and make it unique to your day.

The hall comfortably fitted out 104 guests, plus a good sized dance floor. The fact that there is air conditioning was a blessing - even though we didn’t get married on the hottest day of the year. Once we got dancing we were sweltering and had to ask for it to be turned up a few times!

All-in-all we were happy how our day came together and would recommend this venue to others who are looking for a single venue to host their ceremony and reception”.

We reminisce a winter wedding a year ago today for our special couple Maryke and Jonny.

Under the stunning arch on a picturesque clear blue sky, Maryke and Jonny exchanged vows in front of family and friends.

Suzanne Wedding Professionals NZ and her team created an elegant look for the reception with crisp white full length tablecloths and chair coverings. Tall 'real wax' tapered candles, wood rounds and glass vases were utilised along with the colour palette of soft baby pinks, creams and sage green.

Our hired floral wagon looked stunning with petite, delicate dessert treats.

The wedding cake from the The Cake Eating Company and delicious mouth watering catering from Verve Real Food Catering.

Guests partied the night away with DJ from Pulse Entertainment NZ. A truly magical afternoon and evening.

Congratulations Maryke and Jonny. We were privileged to host your special day and hope to welcome you back in the future.
