Changing Tact with textiles- Textiles are such a tactile medium that you can create something truely unique, just by changing the shape or stitching the fabric a different way. This year Gracie's exhibition will focus on changing everyday apparel into something not so everyday. Gracie's trusty hand cranks will be available for you to have a go.

As an experienced costumier I design and make specialty gowns as well as repair or adapt vintage apparel. These days I utilise that experience and knowledge for alterations and mending to clients favourite apparel and home furnishing items more so than costume work. And that suits me just fine. I also love teaching sewing to children and adults from beginners to advanced.
