Tomorrow will be our last day at the farmstand for the season 💐

Our field received a kiss of frost last week, and now with the cooler weather setting in, our plants are struggling to keep up

We have decided to close the stand a week earlier than intended with tomorrow (Friday) being our last day for the season

We will have our strawberry plants available around June/July so make sure you're keeping an eye on our socials for future updates

Thank you all so much for your support this season, we can't wait to share next season with you all! 💐🍓🐔🥚

The question we get asked the most is "Are people ACTUALLY honest?" 🤔

And up until recently, my answer was always surprisingly "YES!"

Over the last 3 weeks we have had a number of bouquets not paid for, which over time adds up to a lot of time (time away from our children) that has been wasted and not valued 💔

The farmstand is my way to provide for our family, it's also my passion and allows me to work while raising our two young children

It is with regret that we have had to install a number of cameras in and around the farmstand, this was not something we ever imagined doing!

Please make sure you're using the QR code readers correctly, we have detailed instructions at the stand on how to do this

We have also updated our bank transfer instructions to include a way to identify you (blue Toyota) etc

We are so sorry it has come to this, but we hope you all understand

Thank you so much to our regulars, we see your repeat payments and you lot literally keep us going 💝

This will be our last lot of strawberries until Monday 🍓

On Wednesday we sold out (50+ punnets) within 2hrs! 🤯🫶

We reccomend getting to the stand nice and early to avoid missing out 🏃‍♀️

Labour weekend is traditionally known as the weekend to start your summer planting 🌻🌸🌱

With the change of frost diminishing, now's the time to start planting your vegetables and flowers for summer 🥳

We will have a variety of vegetable and flower plants/seedlings and seeds available at the farmstand this weekend

Although we have a field full of strawberries I will always keep few on the patio and in our kitchen garden for the kids 🍓 There nothing quite like spotting the first berry of the season and watching it turn from green to bright red and hoping you get to it before the birds! Does anyone else have memories of this as a child? (Or even as an adult? 😁)
