Ōtautahi legend, Snap, is touring the nation with a brand new show. Welcome to the World of Tomorrow is an uneducated look at life during the pandy and where we go from here.

Snap is an award winning comic and one of the most prolific performers in Aotearoa. A four time winner of Best MC in Christchurch despite dropping out of highschool, Snap is a much better comic than his teachers or parents ever predicted.

Early reviews of his life choices included things like “You could work in a box factory”, and, “Yeah I guess a two cent raise is easier than replacing you”.
But look at him now… he’s a pretty good comedian, as you can tell from this out of context quote from an average review, "Clearly a talented comic" - Theatreview.

Tickets will be drawn on 21st of April at random. winner will be contacted directly by Centrepoint Theatre. Tickets are not transferable or exchangeable for any other performance

“Today the play is in part a fascinating snapshot of an extraordinary moment in time but more importantly it is a reminder of the fact that whether we like it our not, we are all connected in ways that we may not always fully appreciate or comprehend.”

Despite having no business plan, no regular funding and no strategic plan whatsoever, The Rebel Alliance has dodged and weaved its way across New Zealand’s theatrical landscape for the last 16 years. Often solidly planted in real life, the plays presented by The Rebel Alliance prove that truth often surpasses fiction.
‘Back to Square One?’ is a snapshot of an extraordinary time in our history that we probably still haven’t quite fully comprehended.
“Powerful and personal. Necessary viewing for the times we’re in” – artmurmurs.

“Back to Square One? is based on conversations I had with my 95 year old grandmother in Denmark in 2020 while she was isolating in her apartment as well as interviews I did with my neighbours during that time too.
I made the show for my neighbours as a way to bring us all together after the lockdowns. The first outing was in my driveway where it was performed by none other than Alison Bruce!
It was made to be ultra flexible so perform it both indoors and outdoors. The setting doesn’t really matter. The opportunity to gather does.”

The Rebel Alliance is bringing ‘Back to Square One? to The Dark Room at the end of this month!
Winner of ‘Best of Fest’ at the 2022 Nelson Fringe Festival and shortlisted for the 2021 Adam Award for ‘Best new New Zealand Play’ this one comes hot off a season at Wānaka festival of Colour.
Using only chalk to draw with Anders Falstie-Jensen weaves the Norse myth of Ragnarok into a unique story of disasters, family and unexpected connections.

The Book Addict has been performed in a theatre, a pub and people’s homes, needing only an audience and the storyteller to create this intimate event. Annie sips a cocktail as she perches on a bar stool amid a myriad of books. Her hope is, that in telling her stories, audiences will see echoes of their own. The Greek poet, Pindar, writes: ‘Become who you are, having learned what that is’. The Book Addict is one woman’s struggle to figure that out.
