Here next week! The New Zealand School of Dance bring their Graduation Season to Kapiti for the first time.
Expect remarkable choreography by acclaimed New Zealand-based artists performed by accomplished students in an outstanding production of classical ballet and contemporary dance.

*Update on Hotel California The Eagles Experience*

An update for anyone attending Hotel California The Eagles Experience - the promoter has confirmed that the show will continue with their performance at Southward Theatre on 15 October 2021 under the current Alert Level 2 restrictions.

However to remain viable under the restrictions, there will now be two performances on the same day at 6.00pm and 8.00pm and both performances will be general admission seating and socially-distanced.

All existing ticketholders will be contacted directly by Ticketek within the next 48 hours with official confirmation. Thank you for your patience.

Statement from Showtime Australia:
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these changes. We are doing our best to keep our events safe and viable for everyone, so that we can all still enjoy a much-needed night of fabulous live music. We extend our gratitude to everyone for their understanding, and their continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the shows!

The Stetson Group Presents: Olga Shanina - Renowned Russian Soprano.

Olga will be supported by Guy Davidson at the grand piano. 75 minutes of superb:- Arias from Operas, operettas, musicals and cinema.

Olga was born in Ulyanovsk in the family of a military pilot.
As a graduating student in the Rimsky- Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory she performed the role of Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata, and this was to become her signature role, having performed it over 100 times. She has also performed leading roles in Rigoletto, Un ballo in maschera, La Boheme, Die Fledermaus, and Carmen, as well as roles in a number of Russian operas less well known in the West.
From 2004 until 2008 she was a senior lecturer at the Herzen State University Vocal Department as well as presenting master classes in Kazakhstan. Olga has been invited to perform in Japan, Finland, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Tatarstan and China.
Her connection with New Zealand has been by way of a social cultural exchange visit to this country.

With a stellar Kiwi cast of professional singers and musicians, you’ll be entertained with many of the greatest hits of the ’70s.
