Ever wondered how "The Event Girl" got its name?

It's all thanks to Rebekah, the founding force behind our brand! It all started at just 16, when she organized a charity fashion show that raised $10,000. Inspired by her sister's suggestion at a family reunion to turn her talent into a business, the name "The Event Girl" just stuck—it felt right. Rebekah turned her passion into the thriving event design company we are today, and we love her for it. 🖤

The more you look, the more it grows on you. 🌿

🪴 To create an immersive atmosphere we placed plants everywhere with lighting to bring it to life.
✨ Starting strong with a red carpet entrance through lush greenery into a fairy light-framed area.
🍽️ Then the tables featured bespoke centerpieces with plants and hanging number decals.
📸 Plus a green wall complete with LED screens at the side was the photo area.

We loved bringing another Young Growers of the Year event to life!

We had the BrEaST time contributing to the Pink Breakfast at the Atrium. 💕

Transforming the space with a squiggle wall adorned with event decals, a fairy light curtain photo backdrop, a magenta wooden plinth, funky vases showcasing beautiful florals, and a pink carpet in front of the photo area.

It was a packed event, full of heart and all things pink.

We know how to make a theme shine 🌟

This twenties-inspired event oozed glamour with its striking black and gold palette. Guests were welcomed by a classy champagne wall accented by a red carpet and balloon garland.

Tables were draped in black with shimmering gold sequin runners and adorned with art deco table number signs. Large black eiffel vases housed feather plumes as the decor feature.

An event so great, even Gatsby himself would have been jealous! 🥂

The Event girl has pledged to raise $150,000 to support the Te Rau Āwhina -Tokoroa Womens refuge for their work in the South Waikato & Matamata Districts with Women affected by Donestic Violence.

To start off we are raffling a Large Platter valued at $349 - tickets are $10 each - please comment below if you want a specific number otherwise one will be allocated

Masks, feathers and unforgettable moments. 🎭

This Masquerade-themed soirée had a photowall entrance, draped cloth ceilings and a large checked dancefloor setup.

Tables were styled with white Chiavari chairs, silver plates and purple napkins. Centrepieces featured round mirror bases, clear vases with seed lights and feather plumes.

Saddled up for smiles 🤠

Every year we sponsor Camp Quality Waikato - a getaway for children living with cancer.

This year's Wild West theme saw the kids having fun with a WANTED sign (modelled by our Event Girl 'big kids' in the first photo). A saloon door, festoon bulb lights and cowboy related decor on hay bales.

Cup day was a winner 🏆🌸🏇🏻

We customised multiple photo walls for this event. One featured shaped panels and dried florals while the other popped off with a green-wall base and balloon garland sides.

To let the photowalls shine the tables were set using a sweet soft pink, white and gold colour scheme.
