One pumpkin, three orange kūmara, a few carrots, caramelised roasted, two litres of homemade chicken stock (always in my freezer) the obligatory onion & garlic (I cook then remove from the oil for low fodmap) a tin of coconut cream, toasted cumin, coriander & chilli seeds, sea salt & Szechuan pepper, and voila…
seven litres of delicious soup for the freezer, and dinner tonight. 😋

Another great evening

Pushed the boat out with:

Escargots
Snapper Ceviche
Crispy Cuttlefish
Lobster
Mooloolaba Prawns
Duck spring rolls
Brown Sugar pavlova

We shared entree sized plates so I could try everything that appealed.
Brief regret in the early hours of the following morning (I don’t normally indulge in such rich food, especially all at once!) but the flavours were amazing. 😋
