PLIMMER STEPS VENUE MOVING FORWARD.
Plimmer Steps began as a Function and Events Centre and we then had a great idea to hold great club nights with a first class sound system. We engaged some amazing promoters that have serviced us with some world class talent. We could not have achieved it without all your support.
With demand increasing from our Functions and Events business we’ve realized that the time has come to re-evaluate our space that is 2 Plimmer Steps. We love putting on great club events but the local bureaucrats are making delivering a first class club experience challenging. When we consider this alongside the demand for corporate functions and private themed events on Fridays and Saturdays we need to make a call on which occasion best suits the venue. For Plimmer Steps, Themed nights, like our Great Gatsby, Throw Back parties, Circus themed events and private parties are delivering a market that we need to focus our resources on.
As Event Producer and Project Manager of Greenstone Hospitality Group I am committed to bringing world class acts to the Capital City of New Zealand. I’m also committed to nurturing our homegrown talent and encouraging and enabling them to think outside the box. As a clubbing community we deserve a space to dance and thrive.
