“𝙈𝙪𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙖 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨, 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙢𝙚?” How could one say no when the love of your life travels 5,227 miles away just to ask for your hand in marriage?
Jama and Esther might have been in a long-distance relationship with each other, but their love remained intact despite it. Jama works in Alaska while Esther is based in Manila. Destiny fated them as they were introduced by the same pastor who is set to wed them in 2024.
When Jama came to the Philippines earlier this year, Esther awaited him at the airport. She had no idea that a romantic wedding proposal was waiting for her, too, where Jama asked the question and she responded with a sweet “Yes”.
When we finally met the couple, we learned that they have been fans of Ituxuh’s works for quite some time now and that they are very much excited that it’s finally their turn to shoot with us. Of course, we are just as excited to work with them. Jama has prepared a storyboard that they wanted for the shoot, and we worked with them to make it work and figured out ways to incorporate it into our itinerary. It was a whole day of shoot, but it was a great experience since they are very easy-going and relaxed.
After a tiring but productive day, the couple was very kind to treat the entire team to dinner. They also visited us at Creative Hub before heading back to their hotel to rest.

A mic in her hand, Glyza entered the church in her wedding dress as she serenaded everyone with her angelic voice. This was such a unique way to do a bridal entrance and we were mesmerized to witness it.
Roderick and Glyza's Ivatan Amian wedding is a delightful warmth in the middle of this winter season that we are experiencing in Batanes. A beautiful gathering of a happy couple surrounded by their family, relatives, and closest friends beeming with excitement for them. The couple was keen on making sure they choose the right people for thier wedding, their Godparents were those that they knew they can rely on and be there for them even through the toughest of times.
Once fell apart, they found their way back into each other's hearts and learned to strengthen their love for each other and never again let go. They both knew that in each other's arms, they were home and through their union, they are bound to never get lost again.
Being a well-organized couple, Roderick and Glyza proved their dynamic useful during the wedding. They were both very hands-on with the how the wedding went by and made sure that everything was being taken care of in a timely and orderly manner. Thus, our coverage of their wedding went by as smoothly as the amian breeze blowing through the crisp air.

The above line was taken from the bride’s wedding vow. Every girl dreams of a fairytale love story, even those who hate to admit it. Some of us are simply lucky to have found that, just like Hermosa. She has been married to Isabelo for ten years now and finally, they get to have their dream church wedding here in Batanes along with the people closest to them.
The thing with fairy tales though is that there has to be a plot twist. And on the couple's wedding day, the evil stepmother came in the form of rain that started pouring just as the ceremony was about to start. The supposed outdoor reception at the iconic Basco Lighthouse had to be moved to another venue.
Everything led to a happy ending after all. Through the ingenuity of our fellow wedding suppliers, they were the fairy godmothers that brought together a beautifully set up reception that was made ready in time as if it was all part of the plan. The reception program was carried out perfectly and everyone had a great time as they cheered for the happy couple.

“There is no place as perfect and beautiful than Batanes to celebrate love and oneness.” This was Ian and Gel’s answer when asked “Why Batanes?”- the one question we always ask our clients.
When they first met, both of them were caught off guard by each other’s wits, and they found an undeniable connection. They have been together for eight years and for them, it is learning how to be each other’s best friend that they found their relationship’s strength in. Both of them being introverts, traveling together or staying in and binge watching series were their simple ways of bonding and having fun. Therefore it is to no surprise that they chose to have an elopement destination wedding here in Batanes.
It was their first time here in our province when they came here, and they have huge appreciation for sunrises and sunsets so when a beautiful sunrise appeared and lit up the surroundings during their wedding ceremony, they were instantly breath taken by how stunning the island really is. To them, they will forever treasure Batanes in their memories.

Bob and Jamie, hailing from the U.S., embarked on a remarkable journey to Batanes for their prenup and elopement photo and video shoot. Their vision was clear – they craved the dreamy and rustic vibes that perfectly complemented the province's natural beauty.
But Batanes had its own plans, especially with the unpredictable August weather. Flight cancellations and curveballs tried to thwart their plans, but Bob and Jamie's love and faith remained unshaken. This resilience was no surprise; they've overcome much on their journey together, including challenges like no other.
In their vows, a heartwarming surprise emerged - they playfully mentioned their future child's names as "Water & Winter Melon," adding a touch of endearing humor to their love story.🤗
The actual photo and video shoot captured their genuine chemistry. Windy conditions didn't deter them; they embraced the moment, brimming with energy and optimism. Notably, they opted for both our photo and video services for their prenup and elopement, a choice we're immensely grateful for.

Bob and Jamie, both from the U.S, have travelled all the way to Batanes to have their prenup photo and video shoot. They showed us their vision of how they wanted their photos and videos to be like and we were always up for a challenge. They were into the dreamy and rustic vibes which were very fitting for the natural beauty of the province.
With August being a month of rough weather, the couple had quite an experience of their plans being perplexed by changes brought about the bad weather in Batanes. Despite the stressful situations, such as flight cancellations, the couple kept their faith and did their best to work it out in the given circumstances. It all paid off and things worked out eventually. This was just a minor challenge for them as they have gonne through a lot since their relationship and with their support and love for each other, they always overcome. Indeed, for Bob and Jamie, the dog days are over. And they are ready to take on the rest of their lives, together as one.
The lovely couple graced the rugged coastlines of Batanes as we followed them with our lenses capturing the great chemistry and dynamics that they have with each other. Their movements were natural, with no forced poses, they made sure to have fun during the process and it showed in the resulting photos and footage. Windy as it might have been that day, they were unbothered by the gusts and took on the shoot with great energy and optimism.

When Mai and Reggie reached out to us, they presented a well-prepared vision board of what they wanted for their shoot from outfits to sample photos and videos. We love how organized they were about the results they wanted which was very convenient for creating the flow for our itinerary. Despite being specific about what they wanted, they were very easygoing during the shoot and went with the flow that we prepared for them unhesitatingly, making them very comfortable to work with.
There were new locations discovered that our team went to for the first time. We were right on schedule and finished off the shoot with a walk by the beach in Ivana in time for sunset. As natural light chasers, we always see to it to finish our shoots before the sun slips the horizon.
The day’s not done yet, for after the shoot, we head on to the Hub to celebrate, Ituxuh’s very own, (Kuya) Awee’s birthday! It was a simple dinner celebration with the team and our clients were kind enough to bring in drinks for the celebration. Through this, we got to know more of Mai and Reggie in a deeper sense and shared a lot of banters and laughter with them.

Love comes from all places, sometimes, from halfway across the world. Joyce and Roberto both love to travel which led to them meeting at Bali for the first time. They easily turned friends since they shared a lot of commonalities with each other. Their bond was made stronger through time spent together and soon after, Roberto proposed to Joyce to become his wife.
As a travelling couple, they chose Batanes as their wedding destination, fittingly so. The wedding preps were held at Lantia Hotel very early at dawn. At sunrise, a beautiful and serene intimate wedding took place at the Marlboro hills, with just the couple, and the bride's mom and daughter.

Most couples pray for a bright sunny weather on their wedding day especially during the wet season when the chances of rain are relatively high. But on Jullan and Merediths wedding day, it was cold and wet. It rained quite a bit but stopped from time to time which thankfully, wasn't enough that the wedding was still able to push through smoothly. It was not a big deal at all for the couple getting rained on during the ceremony because for them, the rain is a harbinger of blessings that are yet to come into their married life and they were grateful for it. ☺️
As for us, at Ituxuh Studios, the rain is definitely not our friend when were in shoots 😂 Fortunately, we've gained a lot of experience from our previous shoots and learned how to work under harsh weather conditions whilst keeping our gear and ourselves safe and dry. 🤗
The wedding was beautiful. The garden setup was magical and it was so refreshing to see guests arrive in their winter wedding appropriate outfits. ⛄️❄️
The weather may have been cold but everyone's hearts were warmed by the love shared by Jullan and Meredith.🫶🏻

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, but for Anthony and Fhrea, they are also the doorways to each other’s hearts. Both of them got each other’s attention by the look they had in their eyes. Before they became a couple, Anthony was captured by Fhrea’s sweet and innocent-looking stare. Fhrea was captivated by the cool, piercing gaze he had on her. Both of them are shy and quiet, but with their expressive eyes, they were able to communicate their intentions for each other, which led them to a love bound forever.❤️
The wedding was set at the grounds of the Lantia bernardo's Hotel in Chanarian on a warm and bright sunny day. Our team had a great time covering the event, which started from the beginning of the day for the preparations, until the evening through the reception. As photographers and videographers, we’ve been to weddings of all kinds, and that of Anthony and Fhrea’s was the kind that was simple yet beautifully executed. Like most Ivatan weddings nowadays, it was a fusion of modern and old. Modern touches were incorporated while holding on to the essential Ivatan traditional wedding practices.🤗
The reception had a mini bar which our team took advantage. Since we've been taking shots with our cameras the entire day, it was time we took some with a shot glass instead, and our team took a toast for a job well done. It’s like a pat on the back but in alcohol form! 🥂😅

2 days after Doc Kenneth Redelosa Tan & Dr. Josephine Grace C. Rojo prenup shoot with us, came their wedding day. Batanes was their best choice of location for their private wedding attended by their families. As wedding photographers, we have always been used to seeing similar menus in wedding receptions and dinners, so we were surprised to find out that there was no rice, a staple in every 'handaan', in sight. We then found out that the couple were low-carbers, as well as their families. This specific diet sparked interest in us as we have been deeming to incorporate a healthier eating habit in our lifestyle. We learned from them the benefits of eating lowcarb and we have decided to follow their advices.
They have been sharing their knowledge in eating healthy throughout various social media platforms and have earned the trust of many followers, thus, their continuously growing audience.
They requested that the shoot was conducted in way that they were naturally doing what they'd do as if it was just the two of them. We were simply capturing who they are as a couple with no pretensions which is what Ituxuh's ideology has always been about. Real and raw.

The PINK Wedding in Batanes!😍
In love, ‘playing games’ is typically a sure way to lead a relationship to a nasty ending. But this is not the case for Rachelle Bolalin Resurreccion & Mikko Resurreccion, as it was in playing games, literally, where they found true love.
Both of them are gamers so it’s no surprise to find out that they met online. Rachelle comes from a family of gamers and Mikko is a fulltime gamer. Both of them are business owners which is pretty impressive for their young age. After a game together, Mikko sent a message to Rachelle saying “hi, nice game ate” and well, the rest is history.
The entire wedding’s color motif was PINK and was held at the magical hills of Racuh a Payaman. Pink has always been Rachelle’s favorite color and it is a staple, or a must rather, in her everyday life. We found this adorably interesting as it was very unconventional but also cute and simple at the same time. The pink theme went so well with the location and the hues stood out beautifully as warm rays from the rising sun glimmered through as they stated their vows to each other.
Just as how they carry each other as partners in their games through either victory or defeat, they’ll carry each other through life’s ups and downs, now as husband and wife. A new game has just begun for the newlyweds, and with the amount of love and support they have for each other, we know for sure that they’ll hurdle every challenge they encounter.

As wet season has already started in Batanes, it was quite gloomy with unpredictable rain showers during the day of the shoot. Luckily for us, we haven’t had a hard time trying to make good out the situation because the lovely couple were ready to take on and push through even if it meant getting rained on, and we appreciate them very much for it. We let the shoot flow naturally and their playfulness as a couple showed through it which we find adorable. Also, can we just appreciate how fashionable these lovebirds are?
