WARNING LONG POST !!!

A couple booked my photography services a couple years ago during the pandemic. They planned a wedding celebration.
Days before their wedding Typhoon ODETTE hit Cebu and every one was devastated, everything turned upside down and i thought that the wedding was postponed since their is no means of communication, no electricity and water even food was scarce that time.

I struggled to find electricity to charge my camera and laptop battery. We were all struggling especially with communication. Should i go or not, what should i do? Gasoline was also very expensive and every one was hoarding. I thought to myself maybe they moved it or maybe it was poseponed. Then the day came, i was still confused if i should risk my gasoline or not, cebu to toledo is a long drive. I decided to pray and risk it, and since i already know the date, time and venue i just went to see if they proceeded with their schedule, so with all my things i drove my motorcycle from Cebu to Lutopan Spring park, Having the faith that when i arrive there they will be there and Fortunate enough they were.

They went through with their wedding even without electricity. So there is no lights, no sounds and the church in lutopan used a generator. when i saw them they were relieved that i came, even thanked me for coming even without the communication. As the event proceeded i saw what a struggle it is to have this wedding. No electricity and water, No signal for communication.

You might think the couple would be affected with all this obstacles around them but they're not, everyone were all smiles, love and happiness filled the place that day.
The wedding was simple and intimate filled sunshine warm and merry, and it made me realized the quote "Sometimes the storm will pass to see what really matters in life." and yes this really matter, a marriage matters.
When two souls decides to be bound forever no storm, no pandemic can stop the union.

This is what matters, Love is what matters.
