ABCD organizes duckpin bowling tournaments for amateur bowlers in Davao City and creates venues for amateur bowlers develop their bowling skills to shine.

Congratulations to these bowlers who bested all other male Bowlers of the Month in their respective classification in a tournament held the other night December 2, 2022.

They received their awards for BOWLER OF THE YEAR 2022 in a ceremony last night December 3.

The Davao City Duckpin Bowlers Association (DACIDBA) held monthly tournament for Bowler of the Month from January to December.

This year's Bowlers of the Year are :
1. B**g Vergara for Classification A.
2. John Astapan for Class B
3. Arnold Quijada for Class C.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNING TEAMS of SANHSAAI's 9-weeks-every-Sunday-night Bowling Tournament which culminated in the championship round and Engkwentro the other night, December 4, 2022 at Dover Lanes, Davao City.

This year's winners of the Sta. Ana National High School Alumni Association, Inc. (SANHSAAI) bowling contest are:

1. Batch 90 - Champion
2. Batch 86 - 1st Runner-up
3. Batch 89 - 2nd Runner-up
4. Batch 87 - 3rd Runner-up

Batch 90 consistently led from the start with big margin. The tournament was festive every time, marked with birthday celebrations and players eating dinner together mo before the games start.

The other teams that participated which are not in the top 4 spots were batch 1988, 91, 93, 95, 96 and batch 2000. They also had their final contest too dubbed ENGKWENTRO. Team 91 and 93 emerged as winners.

Alumni president Rommel Surban congratulated the winners and thanked all teams for participating and looked forward to next year with more batch teams to join. This year, 10 batches bowled it out with 14 members playing every game.

The organizers of Amateur Bowlers Community of Davao (ABCD) successfully run this event.

Last night November 27 was the 8th and last game of the elimination round of Sta. Ana Alumni Bowling Tournament.

Batch 90 consistently led with a big margin against all teams, ranking number 1 enjoying a twice-to-beat privilege in the championship round.

Ranking number 2 is Batch 89, Rank 3 is Batch 86 and Batch 87 rank 4. These top 4 teams will be playing in the Step-up-the-ladder championship round next Sunday night, December 4.

Other teams below the top 4 teams will play in the Engkwentro duel, a do-or-die bout. This is going to be exciting for everyone!🙂

ABCD officiates and directed this two-month every sunday only tourney of SANHSAAI.

Quijada is a gym instructor of Steelyard Gym located inside the Dover Lanes facility.
