First Option Events and Entertainment Services is a sole proprietorship-listed business under the leadership of Imelda Elisa P. Eclar (aka Elise Eclar), married with one child and a Filipino citizen. She used to run a corporation called Ferangelise, which owned a restaurant and later booked talents and staged productions locally and abroad, until she decided to go solo. The President, Elise, is a

graduate of the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts Major in Broadcast Communications. A lady with many hats, she is a self-confessed semi-retired jazz singer whose experiences include singing for the Inaugural of President George W. Bush in 2000 as she lived in the United States for 12 years; she was a restaurateur, having owned and managed two – one in the United States called Golden Bowl in Alexandria, Virginia and in the Philippines called Options in Timog Avenue, Quezon City. After graduation from college, she got involved in Advertising and Marketing and climbed the corporate ladder while singing simultaneously in 5-star hotels locally and abroad. In the States, she worked as a lobbyist with the Washington World Group which handled French-speaking African countries as their clients. Also in the U.S., she was awarded recognition for her participation in Asian Pacific Heritage Foundation and cited with a Plaque of Appreciation as one of the leaders in the Washington-DC area for her contribution to the Filipino-American community. Carrying this torch of Experience and Excellence, First Option beginnings can be traced from being a small DJ company in the U.S. specializing in weddings, catering mostly to the Filipino-American community. The company grew into a full-service entertainment company booking all acts from soloists to a full orchestra which can be availed with sound system and/or light package. It is a leader in supplying talents and services in Manila and nearby provinces. And now they also have other artists/acts like hosts, emcees, comedians, magicians, fire-eaters, Hawaiian/Polynesian, hip-hop and cultural dancers, models, stilt walkers, face-painters, balloon twisters, clowns, magicians, the list just goes on and on; in short, any other entertainment one could think of. A year ago, Elise partnered with different heads of their own firms, who, like herself are freelance event organizers. Immediately, First Option Events went into full swing taking in more clients and now into full service event coordination. The first big event was a huge success, handling the 30th anniversary of an IT company, for which First Option received accolade and repeat business. One gig led to another until the name became synonymous with quality events. First Option is chosen for its contemporary and global approach to event planning and management. Clients find First Option an alternative to the more complex way of hiring a big agency which submits vague cost estimates or quotes, big company but no proper communication among the employees, with staff uncertain of their obligations and at most times, empty promises are delivered. Clients now know that with First Option, they can get an affordable event services company that is competitive and reliable, experienced and trustworthy.
