I am late w/ my post, I have been harvesting vegetables for tomorrows farm stand. It was a long day, very warm here, 80 in the sun. But that being said, tomorrow Sunday Oct 20th will be our Last farm stand day at L&R Farm. Its been a long season and we will have limited produce for sale. Apples/ $1.00 per pound, apple juice fresh pressed, pumpkins, greens, lettuces, leeks and many other items. come see for yourself. We open @ 10;00 and may be sold out by 4:00. Located at the same place, past the 2.25 mi. marker on middle ridge rd. Albion. Driving slowly is always appreciated.

Tomorrow is Sunday October 13th and YES L&R FARM STAND will be open! Hooray. David is pressing another batch of fresh apple cider and I have harvested a lot sunflowers for bouquets. There will also be some green beans, peas, leeks, radishes, lettuces, greens, broccoli, apples, strawberries, other surprises and yes, more pumpkins from Karen L. We open @ 10:00 and are still located pass the 2.25 mile marker on Middle Ridge Rd. Albion. Many thanks to everyone who has supported us for the many years that David has been growing vegetables for this community. We welcome you to our farm and we appreciate that you respect our neighbors by driving slowly.

So very excited to say that L&R Farm Stand will be open tomorrow, the first Sunday in October!!! Its been several years since we have been open this late in our season. We still have plenty of water and limited crops to sell to you. David is pressing fresh apple juice for tomorrow in 1/2 gallon containers. we have harvested beans, peas, lettuces, strawberries, leeks, radishes, kohlrabi, some broccoli, cauliflower, cilantro, greens and finally sunflower bouquets. We open @ 10:00 and close @ 4:00 located just past the 2.25 mile marker on middle ridge rd. Albion. Look for the magic tent!

It is Apple time on the farm and David has been pressing fresh juice for your enjoyment. Half gallons and gallons will be available at Sundays farm Stand. I just got done picking 38 pounds of green beans that will be for sale on Sunday too! There are also strawberries, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, peas, leeks, greens and of course lettuces..Too many items to mention. we open at 10:00 and stay open till 4:00.on middle ridge rd. past the 2.25 mile marker. see you then.

Now that it is September our farm stand is only open on SUNDAYS. Will stay open till the vegetables run out. Now there is also apples and pears for your enjoyment. Open from 10-4 on Middleridge rd. Albion past the 2.25 mile marker. Thank you to everyone for all your support. Yes there still are some carrots!

We are so happy to finally announce the opening of L&R farm Stand on Wednesday May 29th open from 10-4. Just like last year we are opening a month behind schedule. The weather has been cold in the evenings and mornings slowing down the growth of our vegetables. We will be harvesting Lettuces, Spinach, baby Swiss Chard, Strawberries, Onions, Radishes, Arugala, Flower Bouquets and also will have frozen apple cider in 1/2 gallon bags. We will be open every Sunday and Wednesday from 10-4. We are located past the 2.25 mile marker on MiddleRidge Rd. Albion. This will be our 4th year of having a self service farm stand. Looking forward to the 2024 growing season. Please as always drive slow on the gravel part of the road to avoid dust. have a wonderful Memorial weekend. See you Wednesday. David and Rosa

O.K. here is the news. Our Farm Stand at L&R Farm will NOT be open on Wednesdays after tomorrow August 30th. We will remain open every SUNDAY from 10-4 through the rest of the season.
Fall is in the air, apples are being picked and pumpkins too. We still have lots of produce, but things are slowing down. Have a great day, it certainly is beautiful!

Just have to say a BIG THANK YOU to all who came to our farm stand this week. We had a great turnout for our opening week and it was swell to see all our friends and customers returning. Looking forward to having a bigger variety of produce very soon. Finally we are able to announce that L&R Farm Stand will be opening WEDNESDAY May 31st. We are behind schedule by 1 month, but we all know you cannot control the weather. There will be lettuces, strawberries, arugula, swiss chard, radishes, cilantro, and flower bouquets. This year we will only be open on WEDNESDAYS & SUNDAYS from 10-4. Located on Middle Ridge Rd, Albion, past the 2.25 mile marker. This will be our 4th year of opening our farm to the public. As always please drive slowly on our narrow dusty road. WE care looking forward to another great year of produce. Come see for yourselves.

May 1st has come and gone and we are still not open for business. Many crops are planted and growing, but still small and not harvestable yet. We are hoping to open by the end of May, but in any event we will post our hours and opening day. As farmers we have patience, Thank you for yours. David and Rosa

I know spring is here, I can feel it in my bones, We are just waiting for the fields to dry out so we can get these baby's in the ground. The dirt is Still a bit too clumpy to transplant. The grass is growing, daffodils are blooming, earth worms are happy and we will be planting soon we hope. Just 2 years ago we didn't have enough water to finish out the season. Not the case this year as we round the 50 inch mark of rain. Our opening day may be a bit delayed. We will keep you all posted as to our progress.

Tomorrow, Sunday Oct. 30th will be the last day L&R Farm Stand will be open in 2022. Located just past the 2.25 mile marker on Middle Ridge Rd. Albion from 10-4. A BIG THJANK YOU to everyone who ventured out here to purchase produce and visit our farm. Sorry for those of our customers who missed my post about our Farm stand having a new schedule. We are only open WEDNESDAYS & SUNDAYS during September. For October we will ONLY BE OPEN SUNDAYS. Same time 10-4, same location. With the arrival of September and the changing of the seasons we have peaked w/ our vegetable harvest. But we are still open and do have limited produce and apples.

Our Farm stand is still busting w/ veggies. Come on out and help us. Too much cauliflower, lettuces, broccoli, kohlrabi, summer squash, cucumbers, potatoes and much more. we are open Sat.
