If you know me, then you know how far I’ve come. If you don’t know me, then let me tell you about it!

Before I was The Flower Girl, I was a young woman that was just SEARCHING for some purpose and trying so hard to find whatever it was that God was calling me to do. After life kicked me in the butt, I stepped foot into a flower shop to be a delivery driver for Mothers Day, and I knew right then that this was what I was meant to do. I was told by the shop owner that I “didn’t have it in me” and I “couldn’t do it”. So from then I went on my own and decided I was gonna figure out whether I had help or not.

Shortly after I started TFG, I began working for another florist who helped push me and show me that being a florist is NOT for the faint of heart (shout out ) and I quickly realized that it was all or nothing from there on out, there was no “takesies-backsies”.

After that, I started working as a Chiropractic Assistant at (the best) Chiro. Office ever (shout out ) so I could get back on my feet. At this point I was working THREE jobs at once and something had to give. I had a baby at the beginning of 2022 and thought how on Earth can I run a business with a baby on my hip? Well, here I am.

I’m here to tell you that people’s negativity can only weigh you down if you let it. I could have listened to the first florist I ever came in contact with but instead of telling myself I COULDN’T, I told myself I CAN and I WILL.

I created this arbor this past weekend not realizing how sentimental it would be. But once I stepped back I just said to myself… “Wow, you’re freaking doing it girl”, and I give God all the Glory for it. Every single bit of it.

If you made it this far, thanks for hearing my story 🫶🏼 I’m thankful to be your florist and to get to serve my community in such a unique way. Here’s to The Flower Girl!
