We’re excited to announce the start of exciting improvements at Towne Park next week! The enhancements to the site include a new , a combined pavilion and restroom building, walking paths, entryway signage, and a bandshell.

Take advantage of the nice weather this week and stop by Towne . On Wednesday, June 5, it will close to the public for the rest of the year.

While the 2023 Algonquin Summer Concerts are still going strong, our Recreation team attended the SPRA - Suburban Park and Recreation Association’s Entertainment Showcase this week to get a jump start on scouting performers for our future events!

We are so excited for our last concert of the season tomorrow evening with the Pino Farina Band sponsored by Lucas Orthodontics at Towne Park! We will have some awesome new food options this week with Your Sister's Tomato, Pierogi Rig and Kona Ice of McHenry County ready to serve by 6:00pm! Come early to avoid the lines.

What an amazing show tonight with LP Vinyl sponsored by FNBO!! There delicious eats and treats from Clock Tower Cupcakes, Lincoln Land Kettle Corn and El CHIDO Street Tacos and freeze pops for the kids from the Algonquin Police Department! There was great energy from not just the band, but all of the crowd! Thank you so much for coming out and enjoying a beautiful night! What a beautiful evening in tonight at Towne Park with Whiskey Romance Band! From amazing sandwiches by Uncle Cam's and yummy treats and lemonade from My Funnel Truck to great music all evening and of course special treats from our Algonquin Police Department! Thank you to the Algonquin Police Department for joining us to promote National Night Out! Don’t forget to like and follow the Algonquin Police Department’s page to help get Chief Walker to take his seat in the Dunk Tank at National Night Out next Tuesday, August 1st on Main St. from 6:00-8:00pm. Algonquin Recreation is excited to begin offering Yoga classes again with Gretchen Paradise through Vibecheck Yoga! She will be offering a few one day classes this summer and begin regular classes this Fall. She is offering a Free Yoga Class at Towne Park on July 15th. Pre-registration is required.
