Unique events and the lighting to make them pop. Vilkas LLC is a two part organization. Our events always strive to be affordable, accessible and downright cool.

We produce our own events and bring unique lighting designs to the events of others. We hope to see you at one soon! When planning others' events we aim for the elusive middle ground between bargain basement lighting companies and the expensive shops in large cities. We combine a wide breadth of experience, a deeply rooted design philosophy, and an efficient production machine to bring the right touch of class to your event without breaking the budget. Some more BTS shots from the Neon Gods video I've been waiting to share. The TV wall would have never happened if hadn't already been elbow deep into his own CRT TV creation for an video. Dan sourced all the TV and created their support structures. TVs do not want to stack if not first tamed!

Woo! More shots from the tour. We are out there man! tonight in Boise, then two shows in Utah and it’s over. Super happy with how it’s looking! These shots were all taken at the and in Montana. Two great venues with great local crews! The Wilma had the best maintained Mac 700s I’ve ever seen. *MINT* basically new. It was nice to be reminded why that light was so popular.

A generative lighting installation giving a slight glimpse into the future. About To Be’s fluctuating shapes and patterns are controlled by the Boston weather forecast for 3 hours in the future. Updated every 10 minutes, the shapes are generated live and ever changing.

Located on the Vilkas LLC studio fire escape in the South End at 91 Wareham St. Check it out if you’re in the area! The plan is to leave it up for the month of January.

Last month we worked with the science department on an exciting outdoor showcase. They provided us with the raw data from several student led experiments and we used those thousands of spreadsheet rows to create 10 visualizations that then were shown on the front facade of the campus science center.
