One whole year with our Quinnie Lou😍 I’ve been so emotional about her turning one, way more than I was with Evelyn. I think it’s because over the past 3 years, I have a better understanding of the famous line every parent tells you..”it goes by so fast!!” And it’s unbelievably true.

I’ll never forget the moment the doctors put Quinn on my chest. It was hands down the best moment of my life. My birth with Evelyn was hard, scary, an unplanned c section. I was exhausted after days of labor & don’t remember much. But this birth was so redemptive. I couldn’t stop crying, and honestly, I still tear up every time I think about it. God answered every prayer I had surrounding my birth. But most importantly, He gave me the sweetest little girl as my daughter. She’s changed me in so many ways. My life is so much better, so much richer because of her!!

I was so nervous about adding another to our family. How would we juggle 2 kids?! It was an adjustment, yes. But it’s been better than I could have imagined!! Being a mom has shown me what truly matters in life. It’s shifted my perspective on so many things. And it’s made me want 10 more of these little babies (even though that’s definitely not happening lol). I always knew I wanted to be a mom & that I’d love it. But I never knew HOW much. How great of a joy it would be. How hard it would me. How it makes you question so much about life & what matters.

Anyways, I’m just so happy God gave us Quinn Louise last year & for all the joy & life she’s brought our family!! Happy first birthday my baby 🤎✨😍

My beautiful outdoor loving, barefoot going, Rapunzel haired daughter turned 3 last month and I’m just getting around to documenting this sweet season of life with her 🤍 our life is SO much more joyful & fun & lovely because of her! Having daughters really is the best thing & im so thankful to have a built in bestie forever 🥰

A few weeks ago I climbed to the top of the mountain to watch these two get engaged 🤩 these moments are beyond special and it’s always hard looking through my viewfinder through all the tears 🥹 you could tell Christian and Lourdes are madly in love and it made the whole session so effortless & fun. So so happy for you two!!! 💕

I’m only 3 months behind on sharing all the sessions I did this fall 🙈 but I had to start with Hannah & Zach. These two hold a special place in my heart. I photographed them when they were dating, and then their proposal on the beach last summer, and then these sweet wedding photos in October 🥲 they actually got married in Jamaica, just the two of them, but wanted these photos at Max Patch so they could have the mountain & beach photos 😍 and thankfully you can’t tell from these photos how absolutely FREEZING cold it was up there that afternoon! So much love for you two🤩🫶🏼

Big new years announcement…in case you haven’t heard…we’re moving to St Petersburg, FL in January of 2025🤭🤯🥹

I’ve shared this on my personal page, but wanted to update everyone on this page as well!! This has been a long time in the making and honestly something we did NOT see coming.

We’ve been going down to St Pete for years now, doing ministry with my husband’s job. We’ve traveled all over the country, but truly LOVE where we live and the community we’ve built here. We’ve never had intentions of moving, but on one trip to St Pete, I told Chris “for some reason, this place just feels like home.” Fast forward a few years, and it looks like that reason was due to the fact that God was calling us to that area to plant a church. We’ve prayed about it for 2 years now & have asked God for lots of clarity, which He’s definitely brought to us. And even though the “yes” has come with lots of tears, we’re confident this is what the Lord has in store for us & our family.

All that to say, I’ll still be doing business in the upstate this year & will even come back occasionally for bookings once we move. But next January, I’ll be moving my business to St Petersburg!! I’m nervous but mostly excited for what the next few years will bring 🩷 if you have any questions or want more info about the church plant, DM me or follow 🥰

When a country boy marries a ballerina 🤠🩰 🧡 Catherine and Billy got married this past Saturday and it was truly the most perfect fall day (minus the fact that it was 85°..at least it LOOKED like fall 😅). This was a special wedding because I’ve known these two for what seems like forever AND I got to work alongside my two sisters ( & ) who did flowers & HMU! Plus it was my first wedding back after having Quinn & it got me excited for all the ones to come🫶🏼 Cheers to the Webbs 😍

I’m finallyyyyy photographing again after a few months off, we got some updated family photos done (sorry if you get tired of seeing them bc I’ll be posting them everyday 🤪), and it’s been a while since I’ve done a little introduction on here…so if you’re new here, hiiii 👋🏼 I’m Kathleen!

🖤 I’m 29 (last year in my twenties omg) and have been photographing full time for almost 7 years now!

🖤 I shot my first wedding when I was 14 (yikes) for a friend, which little did I know, would lead me into a career of photographing weddings years down the road!

🖤 I’m married to my soulmate + bff, Chris, and we have 2 sweet girls, Evelyn (2yrs) and Quinn (2months) who we love to death and who make our life so full & fun!

🖤 I studied visual arts in college and got to spend a semester in Germany and it was one of the greatest experiences ever!

🖤 In my free time I loveeee being outside, spending time with Jesus and journaling, working out, going to fun coffee shops, having friends or neighbors over for dinner, or doing anything with my family!

🖤 I’m a summer forever kinda girl but I can’t lie, I’ve been loving the cooler days we’ve been having recently!

It’s still surreal to me that I have another daughter 🤩🫶🏼🥹💛 Quinn Louise, we love you toooo much!
I finally got around to writing down her birth story because I never want to forget it & how incredible it was 🥲 plus, some of y’all wanted me to share my VBAC experience. I’m not usually one for sharing super personal/vulnerable stories of my life on the Internet, but I wanted to share my story because hearing other women’s stories encouraged me in my decision to have a VBAC myself. So you can find it on my blog, which is in my bio 🥰 this birth was so redemptive and God answered so many prayers for me. I can’t think about it without tearing up. He is SO good and I hope my story encourages a mama out there who wants a VBAC to know that it’s possible & so worth fighting for 🫶🏼

I can’t believe I haven’t shared some faves from Morgan + Jacob’s wedding day 🖤 when I say these two are the KINDEST people, I am not joking!! Morgan had a hand written thank you note and a ceramic mug that she MADE waiting for me when I got to the venue 🥹 and from doing their engagement photos to being with them their entire wedding day, they were kind and encouraging and made me feel like family. Their day was full of joy, happy tears, genuine moments, and Jenni’s ice cream...what more could you ask for?! 🤩🫶🏼🍦🖤 cheers to the Deas🥂

It’s probably the pregnancy hormones, but I was getting ~emotional~ thinking back to allllll the times Mallory & Grant have been in front of my camera over the years. From their engagement session, to wedding day, to their first maternity session, to family photos with baby girl, to now family photos with their newest baby girl on the way, I feel so thankful to have photographed them in so many different seasons of life! That’s truly one of the best parts of my job. Of course I am mainly a wedding photographer, but many times I get to photograph couples for years beyond the wedding day. And that is SO special to me 🥲

Only 5 weeks left until we meet our second daughter 🥲 I am feeling ALL the things- excited to add another sweet girl to our family, excited to not be a pregnant anymore, but nervous about having a newborn with a toddler 🙃 I mostly feel at peace this second time around, trusting the Lord with this entire process. I don’t share a ton of personal stuff on here, but I’m planning on a VBAC and would loooveeee some prayers surrounding my birth. Evelyn’s birth was very long, ended in a c-section, and I don’t even remember the first moment I saw her because I was so out of it. So I’m praying for a redemptive birth experience this time around ❤️ regardless, im just praying for a healthy baby girl and can’t wait to meet her! 🌺❤️👶🏼

Makaela is due one week before me with a baby girl as well (!!!), so we did some maternity pics a few weeks ago, before this perpetual rain started. I feel like that pregnancy “glow” everyone talks about has forgotten to hit me, but it is DEFINITELY alllll over Makaela because look at her 😍 she’s legit glowing! Doing maternity photos can sometimes be a hard thing to think about wanting done when you’re huge and swollen and just don’t feel your best. But they’re SO worth it and such a beautiful time to remember 🖤 excited to meet sweet baby girl, Makaela!!

Home from an almost 2 week beach trip & it was so sweet. Beach vacations have always been a highlight of my year & this year was no exception. The more our family grows, the more chaotic and fun it gets. Also, my sisters and I never planned to have kids each 3 months apart. But it was God’s plan & it’s been the best gift to our family🖤 thankful for this time with family & all the memories we made together. But I’m BACK and have a busy week of sessions lined up. Callie + Adam 🖤 Where do I even START!?
These two are just incredible people. Their stories, lives, & now marriage all are a testimony to the fact that God can do miracles. That He can save. That He can redeem ANYTHING.

I met them in the recovery community because they both have a past in addiction. But now they are living a FREE, beautiful, full life in Jesus. If you knew their stories, you’d be SHOCKED to hear all that they have endured. All they’ve walked through. And ALL that God has done in them.

Now they’re married and helping others in addiction and using their lives to bless others. I was so so honored to be a part of this day and document the GOODNESS of God through their stories.

Introducing MR & MRS HACK 🖤 our besties are officially married and I’m still not over the sweetness of their day. They eloped in DC with their family by their side & it was just the purest day, celebrating allllll of God’s goodness in bringing them together. I know I’m biased because they’re my besties, but they are hands down the most attractive couple of all time 🤩🔥 I LOVE YOU GUYS & enjoy the Dominican Republic but pls hurry back so we can hang okay thanks 😘
