I am honored to have been presented with the Sound Design award during the 2024 Cappies NCA Award Ceremony! This award was presented to me and the Yorktown Sound Team on behalf of our work on Yorktown High School’s recent production of Les Misérables. This award represents the acknowledgment of our hard work in creating an immersive sound design and an efficient and capable sound system. We earned this award in competition with 40 other local schools and we couldn’t be more grateful!

I would like to give a very special thanks to some of the important people who helped us receive this honor. I would like to thank Ms. Kravitz, Ms. Mullins, Mr. Witkowski, and the rest of the Yorktown and APS staff. I would like to thank the talented cast, crew, and pit, who performed in Les Mis, my friends and family, and of course, the wonderful Yorktown Sound Team, Natalie Piersall and Paisley York. Thank you all for all of your support, I am forever grateful!

Yorktown’s Production of Les Misérables!!

This was a truly remarkable show that featured tons and tons of talent throughout every single department. I was so happy to serve as the sound designer and engineer for this wonderful production. I could only hope to work with a team half as great as this one in the future!

Directed by David Zobell, ‘s “The Possum Neck Playhouse Presents Eli Thomas Neatherwood’s Award-Winning Adaptation of the Canterbury Tales” at has come to a close.
