The Grandview Community Center is a quaint meeting hall located about 10 miles from downtown Arlington off the east end of Grandview Road. The Community Center holds various public activities throughout the year such as an annual fall Harvest Party, Chili Cook-off, and Easter egg hunt. The membership fee is $10 per adult/$20 per family. The Center is available for rent for private events. Active m

A few things were left last night at the Harvest Party: an egg plate, a toddler jacket and a sequined hair band (just in case it's part of someone's costume). Please let us know if these are yours.

Bring the kids on Saturday April 8 for the Easter egg hunt at Grandview Community Center. The egg hunt for ages 1-12 starts at noon. North County Fire will have a firetruck there for kids to check out starting from 11am to noon. Help needed at 10am to hide eggs if any adults/older kids can come by.

There is a community meeting being held by the North County Regional Fire org. on Jan 17 at 6pm. The meeting is being held to discuss Station #92 (at four corners), slow response times, and increasing homeowners insurance. All Grandview and Bryant community members are welcome to attend.

The Grandview Community Center members held their October meeting last night. It was decided that there would be a Harvest Party on the Saturday before Halloween. This year the event will not be a fundraiser and activities held in past years such as the cake walk and pizza and snack offerings will not be included due to limited volunteers. There will be games and candy for the kids and a fun time for neighbors to meet one another. Though this won't be a fundraiser for the Hall, donations are always appreciated.
Thursday October 27, 6pm final decorating/setup for the event. Volunteer help appreciated.

Just checking one more time to see if there are others interested in holding a yard sale at the Grandview Community Center on August 6th (Saturday only). So far we have 3 families wanting to participate, but there's room for more. We can even do tables outside if needed. Participants will "rent" their space for $20 for the day. Each participant would be in charge of selling their own items. Good condition, sellable items could also be donated to a table to benefit the Community Center. Please reply if you would be interested in setting up a table.
There has been a discussion about having a group yard sale at the Community Center on the weekend of August 6 & 7 if there is enough interest. It was proposed that participants "rent" space for $20. Outside space could also be used if needed, but items would need to be removed overnight. Each participant would be in charge of selling their own items. Good condition, sellable items could also be donated to a table to benefit the Community Center. Please reply if you would be interested in setting up a table and if your preference would be Saturday only or both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday June 18, 10:00am - annual spring cleanup and picnic. Cleaning starts at 10 - inside and outside. Bring gloves and basic yard tools if you are able. Picnic around 2pm. Burgers and dog and fixing provided, please bring a side or dessert to share. Please join us if you can.
