I know everyone has best intentions. People did lose EVERYTHING…with that said please be mindful of there current needs. They do NOT have a place to keep anything…they do not NEED summer clothes, appliances etc. that WILL eventually be needed further down the road but NOT NOW…This is going to be a long planned out situation for our locals. Be mindful of your donations not only for them but for the donation hubs, drop off sites and for the Volunteers. IF you plan to donate…ORGANIZE, LABEL and if it’s something you no longer want is it something they ACTUALLY NEED right now?

It has been my main focus to share info. and help my friends and family in our WNC community. However, I will take a few times to post personal and important info. pertaining to myself and Scares That Care! I am the film festival director of the non-profit. Time is nearing for the early bird deadline of October 31st.

Yesterday was amazing! I want to express how thankful I am for all of our volunteers yesterday. Everyone worked so hard and made it a true success!!! The event would not have been able to happen with out you!!! Cory & Christen thank you so much for providing me with an epic location( Silverados )and an amazing space for events. Greg & Tracey the sound was on point. Thanks to La Tapa’s sponsorship of the amazing food provided to our volunteers & bands Zero Alternative, Nick Mac & The Noise, River Kane, Halo Scars, Below 7.To our bands I can’t even explain how awesome you all are and how truly thankful I am to have you all as a part of this event. I am very grateful for tattoovoss’s support and contribution as well as our vendors Veterans Services of the Carolinas, Grift Town Goods printing on site and awesome designs as well as Voodoo Roux for providing your amazing food! Lastly to ALL that came out and traveled from all around to enjoy the event. The day was full of friendly faces and a good time was had by all. Thank you for your support, much love to you all!!! ☠️🦋🖤
