Attracting pollinators, long lasting, and easy to grow, there’s a lot to like about this flower, oftentimes referred to as the blanket flower. It is said the Greeks found Gaillardia to be a “handsome devil” and also symbolizes bravery.

sunflowers. one of my favorites!

as young plants, sunflowers follow the sun from east to west during the course of the day. once mature they remain facing east to attract bees and other pollinators. each flower head is made up of nearly two thousand florets. sunflowers convey happiness, warmth and friendship.

nothing says summertime like zinnias! these zinnias from grow abundantly all summer long. zinnias attract all sorts of pollinators and a variety of birds. they also make excellent cut flowers lasting a long time in a vase. zinnias are associated with friendship, endurance and lasting affection.

fun fact: zinnias are edible (but have little taste). 💐

Snapdragons, as presented here from Flowers to Bless, are frequently used in our creations and make excellent cutting flowers. Known for their colorful blooms and ability to handle cooler temperatures, they are referred to as snapdragons due to the resemblance of the face of a dragon as it opens and closes its mouth when laterally squeezed. Snapdragons attract hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.
