We went to Waco for the weekend and came back winners. The fine folks who attending and the judges voted us for best international dish for our Duroc Taco which is Abobo pulled Duroc pork, Macha Salsa, fried Shallots and chive oil on Roti Bread. We would like to thank the fine people for putting on this event and inviting us to attend and compete. It was our second year here and as usual we had a blast. We’d also like to thank the wonderful people of Waco for the warm welcome and for all the great feedback and appreciation of our food. Lastly we want to thank our team that did us proud and brought the Ranch Hand taste even further. So a big shout out to and Jonathan. Also a big shout out to the rest of our team who work their butts too to bring Ranch Hand to y’all every day.

So we have been off here for a minute as the last week has been crazy busy. Thank you all for keeping us busy. We have a few pics we wanted to post from a dinner we did last Friday for the 248th birthday. We served these heroes a 5 course meal consisting of a Charcuterie Board, The Basil Salad, Cream of Asparagus Soup, Coffee and Pepper Crusted Wagyu Tenderloin with chive riced potatoes and roasted Vegetables with a Cognac Demi and then finished it off with a custom birthday cake. It was a wonderful night and an honor for our team to serve those who served for us.

Join us this Saturday and Sunday for the Saxon Latin Food Festival. We will be offering our regular menu as well as our Macha Chicken bowl. Macha Salsa originated in Veracruz and then when we took it and added the Ranch Hand Touch. We marinade the chicken breast in the Salsa for 48 hours, then grill to perfection and lay it on a bed of black rice, black beans, sweet potatoes, avocado and grilled peppers and onions.
