Tonight at 5pm! Sugaring Off Book Launch — Join us as we celebrate the launch of SUGARING OFF by local author and Edgar Award finalist Gillian French!

A dazzling and evocative novel about seventeen-year-old Owl, left partially deaf by an early childhood tragedy that will come back to haunt her all these years later when her father is released from prison, and who is always her freest self while hiking the forested acres surrounding her family’s New Hampshire maple sugar farm.

Copies of Gillian French's books will be available for sale and signing.

For nearly ten years, COESPACE offered a unique DIY venue for both private and public events in Bangor. As our downtown continues to rebuild itself after a couple of very trying years, we are evolving into BOOKSPACE, a programmed venue focused on the literary arts. As an event space extension of downtown Bangor's beloved bookstore, The Briar Patch, future programs will include author readings & signings, book clubs, writing workshops, illustrator exhibits and more. Thank you to everyone who has shared this space with us for ten years. Stay tuned for everything that comes next!
